Returns- is there something I need to fill in? I found book in my box with a piece of paper at the back with little things with bar codes, do they go in the returns? it isn't terribley clear.

Not sure whether you mean your actual invoice (return labels with bar codes are usually stapled at the back) or if you've ordered a Returns Book (blue cover).

Don't actually use the RB - that was for pre-internet and/or for reps with no printers.

Am surprised whoever signed you up didn't explain about returns/credits/replacements.... basically you apply on line, submit to Avon, print off the forms, put one in the box, keep one as a receipt (carrier will sign when he takes it back for you) and the 'little things with bar codes' am guessing are the actual return labels - they need attaching to the box/envelope you're returning. (You put the bar code on your returns form so Avon can tie up your receipt/returns and credit the relevant amount to your account.)

Hope that makes sense but if not am home all day tomorrow - PM/email me and I'll gladly talk you through it.

  • Right Im being good today lol. Just prepped 78 books ready for a new road. Fingers crossed there will be lots of orders when I pick them up.

    78?

Do you do all your customers in one go or split them down i.e. to save on the amount of books you need to buy? (If the latter, am envious of the amount of customers you have....)

I suspect she is having some kind of problems at home, possibly may even have moved out

Do you deliver to any of the neighbours who may know whats going on? People do love to gossip.

I delivered to a customer then noticed I hadn't had any brochures back for a couple of campaigns (she wasn't good at remembering anyway), turns out she was having an affair and upped and offed. Another household 'changed hands' without me knowing and I delivered around 3 campaigns before the penny dropped although the new chap said to keep leaving brochures as his partner likes to flick through. The customer told her neighbour to keep in touch and pop over but never left her address :rotfl:(according to another neighbour!).

I'd go along with johannes post - leave til the last minute then send back in the following campaign.

Thanks, J; there's nothing 'lucky' about being in PC; it takes a lot of very hard work. Have only managed Bronze but have one team member as Assoc Broze - sorry to be so lazy and ask you but does the 'extended' commission for additional orders apply to Assoc Bronze too?

dya know im not sure??? I think youd have to call pres club line and ask!!

Ive only ever managed bronze too - taking ill in Oct meant i ended the year on just over 12k sales. Was gutted as was on track with a bit of hard work over christmas to crack silver! but my christmas sales were actually lower than my usual ones because i just couldnt get around people being so ill and even missed submitting c18! had to put all my c18s through as an additional (although there was some sneaky method in my madness there ;) but shhhh!!)

This year im already way behind for silver - but should make bronze just about... depending on when they take me in for my kidney removal op! Might have to get the nurses on the ward to look through a book try and keep my sales figures up!:rotfl::rotfl:

ive got 110 here to do!! :( hence why im on here... avoidance tactics..:rotfl:have to admit thats so i can drop to all my customers in one go though with the newest book...

i also have another 100+ to sort for recanvassing though!:eek::eek:
  • Well after dropping a 2nd card through those 2 customers with big orders yesterday, i did hear from them both, 1 said id get some of the balance this week, and the rest next week, but to keep hold of her order until she had paid up, the other i gotta wait til after my weekend away :( had hoped i might have been able to get all paid up and stuff for tomorrow. oh well cant have everything i suppose. I might have to just work out EXACTLY what my commission will be (after mine n other halfs stuff taken off) as will need a bit of spending money to go to my mums with lol.

My little man had a bit of a lay in this morning, it was nice to wake up in my own time this morning! Thankfully after 3 days of increased medication i do have more energy! I have been tackling my daughters foul untindy mess she calls a bedroom! I found the bed, and the carpet! it was in there somewhere! and for 2 days in a row i managed to find my way back out again! So far its taken me 3 1/2 hours over 2 days and i'm still not quite finished yet! Will have to do it today though, along with getting avon brochures out! or i wont be getting any orders for the next campaign!
  • Marsden - Its a new road Im dropping to so have dropped to most of the houses on it (Just over 100 in the road) Have put a note in asking if they want to carry on getting a book so can start weeding out people who are not interested. I've put them on the book behind. I currently delivery about 50ish books with another 5 going to a mates school and 5 going to cousin works. Unfortunatly not alot of people ordering at the mo. Got about £100 so far, should get about another £100 of orders from cousins work (am offering a free gift with every order this time) So not quite as bad as it sounds lol xx
  • Hi I need a bit of advice if you don't mind. I ordered the wrong books in my normal order so I've placed an additional one for the books that I need. Do I need to have paid for my main order before they will send the additional one? And how long roughly do additional orders take to be delivered. Thanks

I thought about that but I was worried it would cost me a fortune because people would place small orders for the free gift and then when I got the gift it would cost more than my commition was

The trick is to do it for something like "If you order £20 get a free gift!" that way you should be fine :) And obviously you make sure the gift never costs you more than £0.99 ;) That's really where clearance comes into it's own or things like special offers on showergels and other universal gifts... :)
