Heres a question- bit scared to ask this on Connects so thought would ask it here.
How can your customers find you on Connects and can they order through you on there? I am sure I saw something that said this on either the main site or Connects. Would like to be able to do this but not sure how!
Also does anyone have business cards? are they a good idea?Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

I seem to remember when they started connects, they said your current customers can friend you on the site. You have them in your group. Sorry not been on there for months, so cannot help.
I had business cards done. It looks professional, they are smaller to carry around than books and you can give one to anyone you meet who enquires about avon.
If you go through vista print, you can have them done for free, unless you go mad on the designs. You only pay P&P, but if you go through topcashback or quidco first, you will eventually get cashback that helps towards that.0 -

Thanks for your suggestions regarding my boo boo with the dry oil spray. I may well contact my SL and see if she might be able to help me. If not I'll have a look at the possibility of buying off the main Avon site using cashback, thanks ladies.0

How about doing a replacement with another item that you did receive and asking for it to be replaced with the SSS you are missing. This way you would not get charged a postage fee. I know when I have phoned CS to tell them that an item is missing they just do a replacement on any product and send me out the missing one. When you dont send it back to them they would then charge you for it as a recharge....I think!!! Not sure if this would work but I am sure someone more experienced would be able to confirm if it would or not.Everyone loves a bargain :beer:0 -

I delivered to a customer then noticed I hadn't had any brochures back for a couple of campaigns (she wasn't good at remembering anyway), turns out she was having an affair and upped and offed. Another household 'changed hands' without me knowing and I delivered around 3 campaigns before the penny dropped although the new chap said to keep leaving brochures as his partner likes to flick through. The customer told her neighbour to keep in touch and pop over but never left her address :rotfl:(according to another neighbour!).
I'd go along with johannes post - leave til the last minute then send back in the following campaign.
Yes, my gut feeling is this situation is something similar - I can only think that she's gone as if she was just away for a few days I'm sure she would have texted back to say so. Unfortunately I don't have any other customers in her section of the road so I'mnot going to be able to get the gossip that way! I have quite a lot of rentals on my patch so suspect I will have a lot of chopping and changing of people. Already know of one customer though who will be moving inside the next couple of months but wants to keep using me for her Avon!

Thanks, !!!!!!, for your helpful post. Yes, it hadn't dawned on me before.... having said that I wasn't even told about the difference in Associate and Bronze PC level when I signed up - was really gutted when I was 'nearly there' (I joined in August) only then to go back to zero (or so I thought).... Took me 10 campaigns to qualify as Associate so I was hoping to achieve Bronze by early Spring but took me until Autumn....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

'Thanks' again, EL, for your input. Am slow on the uptake sometimes but am beginning to cotton on to a pattern here..... You against Avon/me/this thread? Don't get me wrong, really do appreciate any/all advice to keeping us on the 'straight and narrow' but - forgive me - your posts are coming across with a totally different feeling to, say, !!!!!!'s i.e. he offers friendly, unbiased advice (as do the rest of us on this thread) but - and again, sorry, if am reading this wrong - I 'almost' feel threatened by the tone of your posts. If there's a reason for that i.e. I've offended you in some way, then please let me know. To be honest, you give me the feeling that I've got a terrier snapping at my heels for some reason... Don't mean to be disingenuous but we're all just on here trying to help new Avon reps, who haven't had the advantage of a good upline support system.
We're trying to help each other; your recent posts just make me wonder.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)
