how did you get on, not seen any posts on this thread recently?
Got a phone call this morning. There was an error when I last upgraded my phone and they wiped the text bundle from my contract but still charged me for it.
The guy that phoned me today said that the woman I spoke to last week was wrong about me only getting 3 months back. They had looked into everything and would be refunding me the full amount and I should have the money in my bank in the next 5 working days.
Very happy about this.0 -
I need help &/or advice please.
I just want to download a couple of games and ringtones for my new tocco lite but have been unable to get on the Vodafone homepage from my phone where I should be able to down load them?
Can anyone tell me WHY Vodafone should sell a phone that is incompatable with their system?
Sorry, about the rant, I really want to know where I can SAFELY get ringtones and games for a Tocco Lite? I don't mind paying a small amount for them.
Thank you if you've read this far!0 -
Hi MarcusB,
I imagine that your ordering process was quite frustrating. Have you received some proper confirmation for ourselves yet? If not and you would like me to look into your order I would be more than happy to do so. You can contact us via the link at the bottom of my post.
Marg,
The Samsung Tocco is compatible with our systems, it may be a case of the phone needing to be configured to work on the internet. This is a simple process and I know that we will be able to get you up and running in no time. If you could contact us via the link posted below, our team will be more than happy to help.

What can I say about Vodafone. They must be the worse company I have ever dealt with. The only word I can use to describe them are crooks. I have just sent the below email to the CEO addresses quoted on this thread and hope to get a resolution to nearly 13 months of stress and c£311 over over charging during that time. I could count at least 2 law that Vodafone have broke and no-one seems to care especially all the arrogant call centre staff I have dealt with. The training and level of customer service (especially from supposed managers) is horrendous.
Good Morning
I am contacting you in the hope that you can resolve over 13 months of stress and disgust with Vodafone UK. I have been a customer with yourself on an off for a number of years now and had up to 2 contracts running with yourselves. Over the last 13 months I have experienced nothing but stress and unhappiness with two to these contract (I will supply details once I have confirmation this email address is genuine)
Thus started with a contract I had with yourselves. During this time I received call from an outbound sales advisor that advised me that I was eligible for a second half price contract that would run for the remainder of my current one (at this time 9 months) I decided to take this as my father was looking for a phone at this point and thought that this was the perfect opportunity to get a good deal. I took this and ran with it. At the end of the 9 months I called to cancel both contracts. I was told at this point that I had been given a 18 month contract and that I was going to have to pay £20 per month. This meant that I was over charged a total of £180 for a product that I was illegally sold.
During this 9 month period I made the crazy decision that I was going to give your company another chance, as I was having reception issues with Orange. This was against my better judgement, however at this time I was getting a good deal. Since taking this contract I have made numerous calls with incidents of what I believe are overcharging, with my bills being up to 3 times what they have ever been (between March and June of 2009). I realise that some of this was due to calls made overseas, however I had Vodafone Passport and was only out of the country for 1 week and never used the phone to the extent that had been claimed. I believe that I have been overcharged by an estimated £130 pounds, however due to the fact that I do not monitor ever call I made I cannot prove which ones I did not make. My call counter indicated that I have made about half of what was quoted.
I have also had issues with my bills for 4 of the last 7 months, with being over charged, being charged for Paper bills that I never asked for and being given the wrong contract. However I was eventually refunded for this. However this was only after calls that reached into double figures, and a large amount of stress.
I have logged this with Otello, however due to the process I have to go through and the very strict guidelines, I have found this very difficult to manage around some personal issue, and I have subsequently missed the deadlines. I am now looking to do a number of things.
1. I am looking to escalate this with Oftel
2. Will be seeking advice from CAB
3. Will be looking to cancel my contract with yourselves and looking to seek compensation through small claims court. These items will be
a. The £180 overcharged for the previous contract
b. The c £130 overcharged on bills
c. The c. £250 that I will have to pay to terminate this contract
d. As well as compensation for personal stress and inconvenience
I am sorry that it has came to this however this is my last resort.
lets hope this will maybe get me somewhere. The quicker I can terminate this contract the better0 -

I've had more than my fair share of frustration and cockups with Vodafone over the last 2 years.....nobody seems to have any idea how to do the job properly and you get told contrasting information every time you ring up. So when I find a decent Iphone contract I'll be looking to move providers ASAP....October Comp Wins -Stella Artois Challice (FB)0
