hi am having problems with vodafone. ive got a nokia 6300 after taking advice from the sales person in the vodafone shop i asked for a robust phone nothing fancy. anyway 4 months later the screen goes blank wuth a slight crack in the top corner i have no insurance as the phone was still in warranty. i rang 191 spoke to a guy who told me to go to the shop and they would exchange it when i got to the shop they told me in no uncertain terms that was a no go. i go back home ring again and lady tells me she will get it picked up which happens about 7 days later i get a phone call saying i have to pay for the repair not very happy but i agree as i need the phone for business. anyway that was nearky a month ago still no phone i rang up 191 again and the guy on the other end of the phone was very unhelpful basically saying it not his fault but i think i should be treated with a bit more respect and possibly have the repair for free to make up for my wasted time and the phone i have had to use in the meantime.when i said to the chap that i had taken the sales persons advice he said that was my fault and that i shouldhe shops thr do my own research so what are the salles people in the shops there for
Hi P4ULT,
I can understand why you would feel frustrated by this chain of events and a month is a long time to be without your phone. If possible, I would like to investigate this situation further and help to restore your faith in our company.
As this is an account specific query, I will need further details to track where your phone is in the repair process so could you please contact me via this link -

Hi Billyboy,
I am disappointed to read about the experience you have had so far with us. I would like to show you that we do care about our customers by looking into these matters further and getting them resolved for you. If you would allow me to?
I am positive that we can clear up all the issues on your account. Could you please contact us via the link that I provided in my last post and I can then look into your account to see why you are still being charged for Mobile TV and I will also check your Price Plan for you.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
All the best,
Espi

Update to my long tale about getting a refund out of Vodafone. At one point I was promised an additional refund of my December line rental as a goodwill gesture.
That December line rental refund has now manifested itself in the latest bill.
It is the massive sum of SIXTY-FIVE PENCE. Yep, 65p. Or £0.65.

tried to reply to vodafone rep there even the website for sending emails to them doesnt even work ,complete joke of a company.already sent yous all my details .think ive had enough of it all.can see my direct debit being stopped on monday on grounds of breach of contract.worst company in the world!0
-
Don't stop the direct debit. I know how you feel but that will get you into a far worse mess than Vodafone put people in originally. I'm afraid that as long as your contract is live you have to attempt to get it resolved with them. Of course, the more grief they give customers - and the more of them who appear on here - the more it will ultimately cost them.0

I'm posting a letter of complaint that we have just emailed to Vodafone Customer Services.
Subject: Vodafone Complaint
To Whom it may concern at Vodafone Customer services & Complaints
Regarding Unsolicited Sales & Mistreatment by Vodafone Staff
I wish to register a serious complaint, firstly one of your representatives was incredibly unhelpful and frankly blunt and unwelcoming, with no desire to listen or put me in touch with anyone that possibly could, when it reached 9pm at which time her offices closed she informed me she was releasing the call and promptly hung up on me.
The reason for my call and complaint was that on the 4th of December my young daughter received an unsolicited sales call on my home phone and was coerced into giving up her bank details for two twenty four month sim only contracts.
My daughter Jennifer is a single mother living at home with us and already has a phone paid for her for emergency use, she was obviously unaware of what she was actually doing and has not the funds to pay for any such contract, the sim cards will not be used. I cannot believe that a company such as Vodafone has to resort to such vile methods to get new or retain it's customers, its unacceptable and disgusting and as a council representative myself I will be contacting our trading standards departments regarding this matter.
I wish this message to be considered a formal complaint. I am quite frankly disgusted at the way my family has been treated in this matter and as such I will be also forwarding this correspondence to our local ombudsmen, Watchdog and my corporate lawyer (cc'd on this email) and Oftel.
The number of the unopened sim cards in question are
07833246079 & 07833233547
I await your response in this matter
Yours Sincerly
etc..
Vodafone and I quote
"Welcome to a world thats all about you"
Thanks for choosing Vodafone. Our aim is to make you feel like number one-that means customer service that really puts you first, a network you can rely on and simple innovative services."
A huh... No I don't think so.0 -
The following email might be useful. Voda CEO email address:
Vittorio.Colao@vodafone.com
I generally go straight to the top with complaints to any company. It normally does the trick.
The CEO doesnt reply of course but they tend to kick some but and get one of their plebs to reply.
:rotfl:I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -
I am so imprewsed that some of you are getting your problems resolved - I am making no progress - I am not even getting a response to my e mails.
I have tried the CEO twice but had no response - not even an acknowledgement
Since my last posting on here vodaphone have confirmed
1. They overcharged me £102.97 on my direct debit
2. They refunded me £60.76 of this into my bank account
Now according to the maths I was taught in school this leaves them owing me £42.21
According to Vodafone they owe me £33.17
So in Vodafoneland 102.97 - 60.76 = 33.17
Anyway, whatever the amouint is I can't have this back as it is going to be credited onto my account.
What happened to the direct debit guarantee?
I have sent 2 e mails to the CEO at the end of last week - absolutely no response whatsoever
I suppose I now have to go throught the inconvenienvce of a complaint to the Ofcom and also to the bank to see if my bank will get the money back for me :mad:

I have completely given up with this company - not sure when my contract ends but it can't be soon enough
I have had staff go from telling me they owe me of various amounts and offering me goodwill payments to now being told that I owe them even more money.
I get a different answer with everyone who I come into contact with
After 15 years with this company I am just walking away and letting them keep my money
I'm shifting my 3 phone lines I have with them to pay as you go as soon as I can
