Ok, fair enough. But I took out the contract over the phone, and this was not mentioned to me, neither did I receive any correspondence in the post regarding the additional charges. It was the £9.50/month contract, their website states "£6.50 for every 500MB (inc. VAT) of extra UK data you use". This is contrary to the 250MB that the text message stated. Also, when I signed up I was told they were going to add 4G data bolt-on at no extra cost - this never materialised.

It's usually a mistake to buy over the phone without anything in writing. The t&c you agreed to at the time (whether you read them or not) is all that counts.

Well I would chase both up, 500MB and 4G, thats what your contract states.

So you don't get 4G? is your phone 4G capable?

3G/4G was different prices, most 3G customers can get it added IF you get one of the few good third party staff.

everyone I know on Vodafone 3G got changed to 4G at no extra cost and without asking in the last few months

It's terrible they dont activate all them without customers asking, just storing up problems for later when customers get a 4G handset, how many will port out thinking they dont have 4G in their area without asking or checking coverage.

I've just taken out a new contract with Vodafone, does anyone know how long I have to cancel it?

I was told 14 days when I ordered days ago and I haven't received the new phone or a SIM yet.

I don't mind waiting a bit longer, but do I have 14 days from when I received the goods or from when I placed the order to cancel?

I've tried contacting Vodafone today but been on hold for 11 minutes and need to get back to work, the online chat is also not working.

I'm thinking of cancelling altogether, because I don't want to have no right of return if the phone is unsuitable.

Thanks for the speed of your original reply... But there is still no sign of the bundle being updated in my vodafone app! Should it really take this long to get the bundle updated to what had been agreed?
