  • Me and my wife have been Vodafone customers for over 12 years, we currently are way over the upgrade process, so I started looking around, the reason for looking is that we have never gone over our plan, I will reveal that our plans are quite small, we pay 10.75 per month each (wow last of the big spenders and so on)
that gives us 300 mins, unlim texts and 500mb data. but last months out bill was over £70, hit us for six but wife admitted it was her fault and she did not know anything about it (at the time), So we paid the bill and I decided to shop around, first place was Vodafone and spoke to a gentleman named chris in sales, he went through all the plans on offer I gave him a budget of £30 for the two of us, with or without phones, he said he would ring back next day (never did), so went to local carphone warehouse who offered a good deal but it was with EE (blew Vodafone out of water tbh), the deal still stands at the moment but I need our PAC, came home and did some searching on net and found a damn good deal with mobilesdirect, but again need PAC codes, next day phoned 191 asked for PAC and was put through to upgrades, offered me another deal but needed wife to accept (she was not due in for another hour or so) so they promised to ring back (again never did), now my deal with carphone warehouse runs out tomorrow, but cannot get my PAC from Vodafone as I keep getting fobbed off, it is now irrelevant whether Vodafone can compete with any deal, I just want our both PAC codes, seems like they don't care about us penny pinching phone users lol
cmon Vodafone pull ur bloody socks up, get stuck into some good deals and keep the customers you already got. looks like EE and this giff gaff and supermarkets seem to be blowing you out of the water!!

Up until the last month I had been a happy Vodafone customer for 4 years. The option to end my contract because of the out of allowance costs rising, I had my numbers ready to port to iD mobile for a cheaper monthly price. Someone kindly in the Vodafone retention team offered me a good deal to stay, what later became incorrect and had to be processed again. Waiting on a delivery for 3 weeks, losing 5 days graft in the mean time has already had a hit on my wallet. I am not tight, I pay more because I want more, in every respect Vodafone has failed. I go into store to have VEA discount applied and turns out its only been applied to one and not both lines I have. Its been a calamitous trainwreck of epic proportions. The amount of times I have spoke to advisors over the phone and through live chat I'm at pains to count. Promised bill credit, failure to process a return of a device in June, yet only returned as a credit to my account last week.

I try not to be a difficult customer, I try not to have high standards, I am fair and reasonable. The journey I have had has tested that for me.

One and for all can I please have my account sorted!!!

  • Hi
I have had nothing but problems with Vodafone since I upgraded in June. My self and my husband upgraded with the same person on the same day (same call) same deal. My husbands phone arrived a couple of days later mine didn't. I called to say it hadn't arrived to be told the order hadn't gone through properly even though I ordered mine first. Was re ordered and arrived the next day. We were meant to have a 20 % discount on our accounts as I said this is what I want this is what we want to pay. Was asked if I knew anyone who worked for NHS or several other companies to we we did so he said the easiest was to get that price is employee discount. JuSt 1 quick email is all it takes. We did what was asked , husbands discount sorted mine not!! Bill comes in I am also charged for my handset which was agreed as free (same as husbands). Some time later lots of lies still not sorted. Now being told as gone over 30 days can't have discount. I keep being refused to speak to a manager I've asked for escalation on the matter guess what nothing. Just can't seem to get anywhere passed back and forth lots of promises that it's sorted never is. Help

    Lee - VF Rep

    Hi Lee
I can't log onto my online account. i tried on Sunday and in the end after getting repeated new passwords I managed to get logged on. Today my bill is available to read. Hmmm can't get into my account once again. Password has no mistakes in it. After 12 requests for passwords and each one completed I still couldn't log on. Phoned 191 got two passwords via text message. Still can't get logged on. This is happening every single time. I've even gone on to VF via Twitter. It's just getting ridiculous now. It isn't something new, it happens every single time I try to log in. Any chance you can look into this for me please? Thanks. I can email you my details if you give me the right email addy to send to. Many thanks.

PS I have tried sending you an email with WRT135 on but it says I'm not allowed access.

Thanks Lee. I did exactly that. I've seen you tell so many people what to do but it didn't work for me. Still can't access my account. Spoken via Live Chat, Twitter and 191. I think I can update from now so I'll be checking other phone companies. Despite vintage years with VF, having to use the "forgotten password" every single time I want to go and check my bill when I receive an email saying it's ready is beyond a joke.

Yes I know that. It didn't allow me to if you read my message thoroughly.
