  • Reference number is #9882673

Background is that over 4 weeks ago my phone stopped working and the number is not recognised. Following a few calls, it seems that this is due to a database migration and that it has been escalated to the technical team but there is no estimate for resolution and I just have to wait on an open-ended basis. I would like to port to another network but I am not confident that the number will come across, so I need this vodafone error fixed so that I can have the number back.

    Cheers for the call Lee.

We have had such problems with our upgrade and they have now changed the tariff incorrectly on our account. Upgrade handsets due to be delivered tomorrow, if we refuse the delivery so they are sent back to the warehouse will this effectively cancel the upgrade and set us back to how we were (we can then get PAC code to leave).
Can't be bothered to waste even more time on the phone explaining the same thing over and over again to different people to be honest if I don't have too at the moment.
  • Hi Lee,

I sent you an email in regards to my post here - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5207231

    Thanks

Showing as added on the app, but still not allowing on the phone.

    Progress, but still not there.

Want to PAC my number in, but worried this might cause issues.

Not happy at all! Called for a PAC code a week ago as orange offered me a great deal on the galaxy s6. Vodafone then gave me a good offer of a 12 month contract, £49 for the phone and £53 a month for the contract on 4gig data and unlimited mins and texts.

Called today to make sure the pre-order was still going through and advisor said the previous advisor never put anything through and that that offer is not even available. The previous advisor however did leave notes on the account stating the offer so they are getting the call listened to. As I was promised this should I not get it? In any case I have requested a PAC code as this is poor service from someone I have been with a very long time!
  • I'm hoping Lee can help!

Took out contract in October 2014, have had no network signal most of that time. Called customer services monthly, tried all their fixes, including going to a store and getting a new sim, nothing worked. On 4 March someone finally admitted there is no service in my area and I could cancel contract with no early termination fee (as vodafone problem). Was promised, in an email, that Carl Blacker would send me a returns envelope, once they received the phone back they would cancel contract. As yet still no envelope received. Have sent 3 emails as can't get through to Carl by phone at all. No response to any emails. Went in store today, they couldn't take phone as purchased online and don't deal with online contracts. Used in store phone to call customer service again (can't from home as no signal...) first person cut me off. Called back, 3 different people later and still not resolved. 2nd person actually lied to me saying he'd noted everything down, when I asked him to repeat it he couldn't as he said he actually hadn't noted it. He transferred me to someone else who also confirmed the previous person hadn't made any notes.

This is not acceptable and I will be speaking to the ombudsman as vodafone in breach of contract as admitted no service provided whilst still taking money from my bank account.

    Will never use Vodafone again!
