I requested an unlock code on 22/01/15.

On 27/02/15 i finally received an unlock code which did not work.

I wrote to PAYTNUCResolutions@help.vodafone.co.uk about this and received the link I ‘ve got my unlock code but I can’t get it to work” which did not work.

Can anyone help me on my next course of action. i have become increasingly infuriated over this situation especially with Vodafone's non existent customer service.

Please do. I've received a letter from the pharmacy today, saying they've tried to phone me as they have a query with my prescription. So as a result of Vodafone's mess my medication will be late this month - I am disabled, and you can read my previous posts on mse if you want to see evidence of that.

I've sent a new email [#9772752] as this is not sorted. The number I should have does not ring, and I don't even have access to the temporary number I was assigned when I took out the contract.

My partner decided to get me a tablet on her Vodafone account as she has been with them for over fifteen years, but I think that might change somehow, and got a good deal unfortunately she ordered the wrong one but phoned back within the space of a hour and changed it or so she thought to the correct one, despite both myself and my partner confirming with the representative that the ordered had been amended and also calling back to double check she still received two tablets so obviously she rang back to return the unwanted one and it was just a comedy of errors there after.
We both have been lied to, I have taken time of work for a collection that was never even booked, my partner was reduced to tears after speaking to the returns department and a so called manager who was just damn right rude and also arranged yet another phantom collection that never happened, we were offered a gesture of good will that yet again never came about and when questioned it we were called liars in so many words and I suppose the icing on the cake was when we received a telephone call from your so called Customer Relations team from India who did not even understand the points we were trying to raise and just shrugged them off so sending a detailed email was rather pointless, after a rather lengthy call he agreed to arrange collection of said item yet again and offered a rather insulting gesture of good will.
We previously emailed Jeroen Hoencamp on several occasions but there was no surprise when we did not receive a response.

Has anybody else had similar experience to this as this must be one of the worst ones we have had, they just have no respect or regard for loyal long standing customers what so ever.

    *** Edit ***

Well just checked the bill this morning and surprise surprise no credit what so ever but the unwanted tablet is still on there and I guess it is not going to be picked up either, you talk a good talk but are not able to follow it through !

    *** Edit ***

Well on Friday Vodafone just demonstrated yet again how incompetent they are by attempting the collection of the said device despite advising us it would collected on Monday 16th and booking time of work to accommodate this.
We know have sent yet another mail to the so called CEO department no doubt we will either just get ignored or get contacted by somebody in India who can only read from a call script and does not understand the issues.
  • A customer for over 4 years. I decide to leave as they could not match an offer for new iphone6 from EE. I went through all the right channels - arranged to transfer my number - spoke with accounts department as i was leaving part way through a month and wanted to make sure my final bill was correct. i was told the amount my last bill would be and the date it would be taken via DD. I agreed to leave the DD open until this date which was 7 days after the contract finished.
An amount of £37 was taken - i cancelled the DD and then yesterday I receive a statement of my account telling me I am £28.34 in CREDIT!

Problem is I can't seem to get this money back...can't get put through to a number which has the answer - when google search I keep finding posts which suggest that their T&Cs say you need to use all credit in the account. if i had been told i was in credit why did they take out a payment of £37??

    Any help please??
  • Unfortunately Vodafone's abysmal customer services department and poor customer relations and accounting errors have prevented me from doing so. When I closed my contract with Vodafone I asked if there was any outstanding debt to pay on the account and was told there wasn't, I went on my happy way, closed the account and thought that was it.

How wrong can a man be??

The advisor had got got it wrong, although I had always been billed via the internet and paid my account by direct debit EVERY month, it turned out that due to the timing of my closing the account there was a bill of £14 to pay. Vodafone apparently decided to send an account via Royal Mail rather than my internet account, and this is where the problems began. I had been with Vodafone for a number of years and as I had always communicated by internet I had not updated my address so the bill went to an old address and I was completely unaware of the outstanding £14. This has now affected my ability to get a mortgage, despite an above average credit score I allegedly have an arrears of 2 months, of course as soon as this came to light I paid the bill without delay thinking this would be an end to it, my account would be cleared and all would be ok.

How wrong can a man be???

Despite probably a dozen calls to Vodafone's customer services department I can't seem to get the debt cleared from my account. I have asked politely, pleaded and begged all to no avail. If I ask to speak to someone who can do anything I have been told that
    (1) Anyone above me is far to busy to speak to customers, you will have to deal with me
    (2) I can't contact the relevant department because they don't have any phones
    (3) Yes I know I told you it would be sorted in 14 days and that timescale has been met but we are very busy and now the timescale is 3 weeks, please ring me again and I will let you know how it is going, and no I cant guarantee that the timescale won't be extended again.

Basically I feel that although Vodafone have had thousands of pounds from me in the past and because I am no longer a customer I am of no consequence. Shame I didn't feel like that when they overcharged me by over £100 maybe I should not have been so understanding.

You won't get anywhere that way - as you've discovered. In any case, the adverse entry on your external credit files will stay there for six years.

Follow the instructions on here and contact the web Relations Team. Otherwise you'll be on here forever saying the same things - and more Vodafone will do everything it can to make things worse.

After much resistance I managed to at least get the £20 unlock fee refunded. It even took effort to get it paid into my bank account - they wanted to give it to me as Vodafone credit, which in the circumstances would be like a slap in the face!
