I have complete sympathy with everyone experiencing issues. EVERY time I upgrade I am completely disgusted by the level of "service" from Vodafone. Until now I've been stuck with Vodafone as I needed to have Sure Signal but, this is no longer the case. I would genuinely warn anyone off signing up with them. I am in the process of reporting them to Ofcom following being put on a tariff that was twice the expected price and that I'd NEVER heard of, never mind been offered. Only this morning I'm getting texts and emails saying my new phone will be here today when I know that when they last told me this it hadn't even been picked from the warehouse. It'll be going straight back when it finally arrives. I've never had such poor service and at the same time as paying over the odds too!!

Got a new phone today (early Christmas present) and found out it was locked to Vodafone. No problem, I thought, since I've gotten O2 and Virgin Mobile to unlock phones before within 10 minutes for free.

Turns out Vodafone charge £20 for the privilege of using my shiny present with a network provider that actually has good signal in my area. What a joke. I'd rather spend that much paying a dodgy website to do it just out of principle!
  • Hi all,

Well as i said yesterday i got a phone call from Lee and i'm sure he was left in no doubt about how i felt with VF.
Lee has not emailed me or phoned me back since HOWEVER this moring i had a special delivery and inside was a new G3, so they have someone very happy, Lee if this was down to you many thanks you have made someone's Christmas.

However i would say that the way VF have handled the whole G2 problems and in my case the theft from DPD has been disguting I have spent well over 12 hours on chats to VF about this and as a rule staff have been useless, but SOMEONE has outdone themself with this G3 so thanks very much, i just hope the rest of you get your problems sorted sooner or later.

No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere

Lee, I have sent you a message but I don't see what can be done to change things. After much work on my part my tariff was changed back and I am yet to receive the promised phone. I'm sure my notes will bring you up to speed. Really I would like Ofcom to look into where I stand further as I'm promised better service regularly to no avail.

    Hi everyone,

DragonQ – The charge is applicable if you’re a Pay as you go customer, or if you’re a Pay monthly customer who’s had the phone less than 12 months,

Alloneword - Lee's currently out of the office, so I'm replying on his behalf.

I’m pleased to see you’ve now got your phone – I’ll let Lee know. :)

k4tym – If you can post back here with your email reference number (this will look something like [#8963266]), I’ll check we’ve received it.

    Thanks,

    Jenny
