Dear lee, thank you for call yesterday, although I couldn't hear everything because of my signal. You seemed quite genuine and I felt I was talking to someone who could get things resolved. My email reference is 4927847. Although it was pasted from my post here, so if you have read that...
    Hopefully you can assist..

    Hi Black tourer,

Thanks for your time on phone earlier in the week.

Please be assured that I'll get back to you again as soon as I can.

    Hi Mrkristian,

I'm sorry to see that this remains unresolved.

So we can follow things up again, could you reply to the last email you received from us?

    Kind regards,

    Lee

I dont see the point in you doing anything about this its been going on now for over 18 months, so every month my phone stops working, you do not know how much trouble strife let alone money that i have lost, i could'nt even ring my son who was poorly last month, dont bother ive switched to tesco mobile, your servise with me has been disgusting, your company has lied to me called me a liar, i just hope that people will stand up against your company and not be pushed around like they tried to do to me. And dont bother apologiseing because vodaphone dont a dam, every time getting a different advisor that thinks that this is a new problem.
This is the beginning of the end even just my friends alone have switched from vodaphone and gone to TESCO mobile HALF PRICE SAME MINUTE DEAL AND HALF A GB MORE INTERNET, SAME TEXTS, 500 mins 500 texts 1GB internet £10.00 A MONTH signed contract adios vodaphone after 14 years of being a customer................calling me a liar........... lol

I find it amusing and a disgrace that vodafone/Lee chose to ignore my comments, at this time i still had no service. The lack of response was blatant if you read the last few pages, i asked for help from him and none came.

Vodafone it just isn't good enough, I used twitter to contact them as well and was told to fill out all the details again, why when you had my complaint ref number, still nobody provided me with a uk contact number, i guess they prefer to stay anonymous and don't really giver a damn.

The good news , my problem is now sorted but the compensation offered (£30), i think is just not good enough and i had to battle for it as it was outside policy.

For any company to think that a spend of £180 from the customer, have reported problems throughout this period to think a £30 goodwill gesture is acceptable then things need to be reconsidered. I tried my hardest with the guy on the phone but there was no way he was going to budge.

Vodafone don't have the right ethos when it comes to customers, customer comes first all the time, simple customer service really, i have had a real battle getting anyone to just listen. Partly because most don't fully understand my northern accent because they are not UK based.

I work for one of the worlds leading brands and if i treated any of my treasured customers so badly, i would be in trouble, but vodafone just don't seem customer savvy whatsoever.

I will be writing to the MD and everyone high up with my comments regarding the above and the fact that you obviously dont communicate between departments.

I contacted you via phone, email and on here and it was obvious it was not recorded.

Does anyone else think a good will gesture of £30 is acceptable;e for a problem that has been reported on countless occasions over 6 months.

One thing i do know is as some competitors have realized complacency and arrogance is very bad and vodafone , you have plenty of it at the moment.

Your staff in store are a credit to you but cannot be there for every problem a customer calls about.
  • didn't even warrant a response tut tut

I now have the whole family on Tesco Mobile.

    The 2 things that made me move from Orange (moved from Vodafone to Orange) were;
Tesco mobile have UK call centres
Tesco mobile offer CAPPED contracts- this means that I can give my kids a mobile (say at £10 a month) and they can't go over it. It also means if someone steals their phone they can't run up a large bill.
    baldly going on...
  • Afternoon,

I recently upgraded my Iphone 5 to the Iphone 5C using the Vodafone Red Hot Trade in deal. My phone arrived along with a new Sim.

All seemed to go well, I placed the new sim provided into my new IPhone 5C and my old number worked in it fine (ending 115).

Now this is where it goes badly down hill for my experience....

I'd been waiting for my price plan to update opn the Iphone app and noticed that it still said I had a 2gb allowance of data (instead of the 4gb) which has resulted in me going over my allowance and recieving charges.

4G does also not appear to be enabled on my plan and I've been unable to register for the entertainment pack as it still says i'd be charges £9.99 instead of the 12 months free when registering over celluar (wifi disabled).

I thought i'd give it a bit of time as things may still be settling down... but 3 weeks later there is still no change, so today gave your customer services team a call.

When i spoke to the CS agent, they advised I now have 2 Phone accounts and would need to buy out the 1st one. With a year left on the contract.. this is not the deal i chose and not an option for me as I can not afford it !

In addition to this, the price plan I've been placed on is a £42/month price plan. As you can see from your website, this is ONLY available on the "Trade In Offer", the none trade in offer is £47/month.

Clearly somthing has gone wrong with your systems Vodafone as the new sim has my old number (as would be expected with an upgrade), but rather than cancelling my old account you've created me a new account with a new number also (which i dont have a sim card for).

The CS Agent was addiment that this was a new order and not the "Trade In Offer" which I selected. Why would i ever need 2 phone contracts running simultaniously ?

Had I known that this was a new contract, I would have cancelled within the first 7 days. My old phone is sat here waiting for Vodafone to come and collect it.

Can somone please investigate this and find me a resolution. I noticed a lot of your customers have had similar issues and looking to write to Watchdog over the issue. My letter has already been drafted and does not make for good reading.

    Hi there,

I've been a Vodafone Business customer for a good few years, and as it worked out cheaper than renewing my contract, took out a personal sim only deal recently. However, I've been trying to move my business number over to the prseonal contract, via your TRansfer of Ownership department, with no luck whatsoever.

I have been contacting the department since 13th October, and have only had one email reply from them. My last email was 11 days ago and I have not had a response to it.

When I call your telephone support they've said I need to wait for a reply from Transfer of Ownership.

I've been paying for two contracts now, as I'm unable to cancel my business contract until the number is moved over to the personal, due to this delay.

When I originally spoke to Vodafone about this, they said it would take up to a week to move the number over, instead it has been 3 now, with no progress.

I'd appreciate if someone could get back to me as soon as possible about this.

    Thanks

I may be wrong about this but my understanding of the Red Hot deals is that you have to be on the deal in the first instance to take advantage of an early upgrade 12 months later, so unless you were on the deal in the first place it would be a new contract which seems to be some sort of lease agreement.
It's not just about the money
