went to the hole in the wall to put £10.00 freedom freebie on as cant afford to put anymore on as already put £15.00 on and freedom freebie never worked plus another £5 just to ring customer services, so i rang 2345 striaght away so as not to use credit so i had enough credit for frredom freebie, i went all the way threw the automated service it never worked and cut me off, so i thought ok ill try it again dialled the automated service, to be cut off again then i recieved an urgent text i had to reply to and thus broke into my £10.00 so once again my credit is running away with no feedom freebie, this happened today at 1pm.
I am so sick of the vodaphone service that i have recieved over the last year i have decided to sign a contract with tesco, and before you apologise, dont bother because you dont really give a !!!!, an adviser contacted me from here and basically told me you dont do vodaphone freedom freebies, no !!!!!
goodbye vodaphone0 -
Hi - does anyone know if there is any kind of trick/knack to getting Vodafone to respond to complaints? Writing to them and asking nicely for a reply does not seem to work in quite the same way as it does with other companies I deal with.
I have written to them 4 times now and not even so much as an acknowledgement and they have had my phone cut off for well over a month now. It's a corporate account but I have tried writing to both their corporate and non-corporate customer services without any reply from either so they are both as bad as each other. Their web-site jokingly (clearly) suggests that they aim to resolve all complainst within a month.
Thanks0 -
*apologies - within a week (although even a month would be great).0

hmmm well writing to the chief exec doesn't work, ringing customer relations doesn't work, ringing customer services doesn't work .... try the ombudsman services that's the only way it seems you can be heard.
Hope you get some satisfaction - seems like many are having problems yet customers frustrations rise due to Vodafone's lack of accepting responsibility for complaints and the worst of the worst customer service.
Banks used to be the same concerning the PPI palaver and look what happened with that ... eventually.
Maybe Vodafone should start putting compensation and refunds in their savings pot...ready for when all the customers they've treated so badly, and those they've failed to honor contracts with, come calling.;)
I believe it's only a matter of time.Hi Mikee123,
In regard to your reference I'll liaise with our Customer Relations department.
Thanks Lee although since I havent heard anything I am not holding my breath.0 -
tried to purchase a ten pound freedom freebie again tonight as phone ran out of credit from last freedom freebie not working, did not work again so once again the credit has ate into my £10.00 so i can not purchase a freedom freebie i will be going to the ombudsman, and cant wait for my tesco sim to arrive, so all in all since last thursday ive spent £45.00 pounds everytime trying to activate a freedom freebie.0

Hi Fl1ghtR1sk,
Thanks for making me aware of this.
Although I wouldn't be able to help directly I'm sure I can refer matters to someone who can.
Could you email me with a contact number only at eforum.web@help.vodafone.co.uk and quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?
MrKristian,
Thanks for keeping the thread up to date with developments from your end.
Please be assured that we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Mikee123,
If the Ombudsman has already taken your daughter's case on then I'm afraid I'd be unable to intervene.
As such, we'll await contact from them.
Kind regards,
Lee

Lee - thank you for the response and trying to help. I have emailed you on the e-mail address provided. The significant problem is that Vodafone have cut of my mobile without ever attempting to contact me by telephone on the number that they had for me (y'know being my phone provider and all). It is a bit bizarre that Vodafone now prefers to contact me by telephone to the extent of utterly failing to respond to my letters and yet showed no inclination to attempt to contact me by telephone to discuss my account in the first place.
It is not particularly convenient to be contacted in my open-plan office location whilst at work. Also I preferred to deal with Vodafone in writing and Vodafone does provide a Customer Services address but then apparently chooses not to respond to letters which is unacceptable.
I have provided you with my office phone number (in my email) but I am not willing (or able) to enter into any detailed discussions on this line and prefer any response to be either by email, letter or on my mobile number (which will require reinstatement of my account).0
