Vodafone screwed me and I will never use them again. I had an 18 month contract that expired and I gave them the 30 days notice to say I didn't want to renew. Despite this I got charged the following month, so I called and sent the paperwork again, yet still got charged the following month. This continued for 6 months and I got diddled out of £240. Everytime I called them they said they had no records of me wishing to cancel my contract and they never replied to my mail until I threatened legal action. I'm still to this day trying to get that money back but they are saying that they hav no record of me ever being a customer with them. Definately the worst mobile company I have ever been with.

I am disappointed to hear that this is yet to be resolved for you.

If you would like me to look into this further, you can email me directly via the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject.

Can you also include a link to your post and a contact number that I can reach you on.

    Hi beckyminime,

    Kind regards,

I have a MASSIVE problem with Vodafone at the moment.
I've been a customer for nearly 10 years, upgraded my phone as normal at Christmas time and received a Nokia Lumia 800. I became one of the unfortunate people who got a faulty phone. Sent the phone back after 2 weeks, received a refurbished phone (hmmm, paying £36 a month for a non-new phone?) Another month later, this phone has the same fault. Emailed vodafone, said I wasn't happy and they said send it again for repair. I went into my local shop to say I wanted an alternate handset as this was obviously a faulty handset, they said they didn't have the authority to swap them but to email vodafone and they should sort something out. Emailed them again and set I would send the phone back but want a new handset and would even be willing to pay towards it. Got an email back today to say I could have the iphone for.... get this... £499!! Are they joking?! I'm already not getting what I'm paying for (i.e a fully working new phone) and they expect to pay nearly £500 for a handset? Are they for real?! Would love to get out of my contract but fear it means paying out the rest of my contract and at nearly 22 months at £36, you do the math! I'd be interested to see if anyone from vodafone could comment on this or possibly help me?
    Disgruntled customer :(

Hi, update.... Sent the phone off for repair, got it back, it worked, now it's broke again after 3 weeks, same problem. They said I needed to keep the software up to date, which I did. Have emailed vodafone last night with the same case number, no reply as yet. Don't want the standard 'we can send it for a postal repair', it's obviously not repaired. I just want a working handset, at this point I don't really care which one or if its new, i just want it to work. It's a priority now as I am without a phone, again.Again, I just want what I pay £36 a month for. Could a vodafone representative on this forum help?

    Beyond angry now

  • Vodafone has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced from any company.
I was offered an upgrade for my IPhone which when received was only 8gb whilst my old phone was 16gb. I sent it back after one day and there the drama enfolded. I have spent over 6 hours on the phone on several separate occasions to try to sort this issue. Yesterday I gave up and contacted Vodafone to cancel my contract - they did not even ask why - they do not value their individual customers and I think their BIG revenue is corporate hence the appalling service. To add fuel to the fire...the Vodafone customer assistance told me yesterday that my contract would be cancelled and would come into affect within 2 hours (I have a transcript of this conversation)...needless to say today it was still active! Called again today to find out why and was told that they did not have this on record but not to worry as the current operator would do the cancellation for me then. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I would get a call back from the manager to explain why this has happened...LOL of course that did not happen either...
The operators do not seem to know what they are doing and are constantly giving incorrect information or not fulfilling what they are telling me they will do. They are also rude and condescending.
It astounds me that they get away with this shoddy service. I will never ever use a Vodafone service again. (Not that they particularly care!)
Please be very careful when signing up with this network as the stress and time wasted is not worth it!!!!
