I've had enough with Vodafone. I have been a pay monthly customer for 7 years and if I include the PAYG I had at school we are looking at 12/13 years of customers. The last month or so the signal has gone from terrible to non exsisent. Last Thursday my phone had lost all signal 6 times in the space of 5 hours!! I have emailed a complaint and the latest solution they have come back with is to switch my phone to 2g. I have an iPhone 3GS I am not going to switch to 2g when I am paying for mobile internet!!Total Debt - £30,814.90 at 12/2/2016
Total Paid £993.24 = 3.22% at 29/04/2016
2 debts of 20 paid off0 -
Hi LPMS,
I am sorry to hear you are having some problems with the signal on your phone.
One thing that might help if it's at your home address is a Sure Signal device.
If you email me via the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject, I will be happy to help.
Please also include a link to your post.
Best wishes,
Heidi

Just got a shortish reply from Heidi web response team WRT135,saying basically thanks for calling us, and I note that customer relations have now called you.
Well Heidi, guess what:
NO they havent.
A company that makes it's liviing from selling equipment designed to get people calling, and they cant even return a phone call.
I feel a little letter to OFTEL and then a FILMED visit to Vodafone HQ comig up.
Seems like they dont give a stuff.
If I had an alternative network with a really good signal, I'd BE OUTTA HERE but sadly I dont.
Keep you all posted

I am so sick of Vodafone. For 6 weeks now I've been having problems with the signal I am getting at home. I have been passed from pillar to post with my complaint and keep getting the same response.... it's as if they have some kind of a checklist that they have to go through before they actually deal with the issues.
Problem with the online complaints form is that it only takes 900 characters.... I can assure you my complaint is much more than that!
I am going to email the CEO too.... thanks for that information. :T0 -
They don't answer complaints whether 900 characters or not. Their whole philosophy is to avoid customers complaints and ignore them if you manage to make one.0

I recieved a phone call from Heidi late afternoon offering me a free sure signal box, and on thursday I had recieved it and have full signal today!! Thankyou Heidi!!Total Debt - £30,814.90 at 12/2/2016

Oh Heidi, this is now beyond a joke!
I took the initiative from reading a few of the other complaints on this forum and have already emailed to that address with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject line. I received an automated response stating that someone would contact me within 48 hours. Surprise surprise, no one has contacted me. I'm totally fed up with the lack of service from Vodafone and now just want to cancel my contract. I need to be with a company that can provide me with a decent service and who treat loyal customers with respect. I have forwarded my complaint to Guy Laurence (guy.laurence@vodafone.com) and also Vittorio Colao (vittorio.cola@vodafone.com) - I have cc'd (customer.care@help.vodafone.co.uk) too so you will be able to see my email in full.
Who knows if anything will be done before Monday 16th January 2012 (which is what I have requested)? I have also alerted Otelo and am prepared to take this further.
I cannot begin to tell you how disgusted I am.Vodafone_company_representative wrote: »Hi JasmynsMummy,

Just an update:
I received a phone call this afternoon at 3:30 from a very pleasant lady claiming to be from the 'Director's Office' at Vodafone. As I was driving I was unable to speak to the lady at the time, however she assured me that someone from that office would call me after 5pm this evening on my home number. It is now 9:15pm and I still haven't received a call! :mad:0 -
Well, my happiness that everything was sorted out was short lived!!!! I was told on Thursday everything was sorted, the account is settled, theyve informed this lot the account is settled so I wouldnt be hearing from them. Yesterday I recieved another letter from the debit collection people, a somewhat snotty letter at that. Now they are wanting court fees???? and solicitors costs?????? They're going to take me to court if I don't pay the bill within 7 days!!!!!! And all this is going to seriously effect me credit rating!!!! They'd been told on the 12th I owe nothing yet this letter was typed out on the 13th!!!!! I emailed vodaphone as soon as I got the letter but they havent replied.
I'm really worried about this and dont really know what to do next? One thing I do know is I'm not paying it!!!!!!
