Thanks. I have been told that the money will be refunded. I have hence decided to stay with Vodafone and not switch to another provider. I hope this promptness of service and this positive attitude towards your clients remains for the long-term.
I also think that your customer care cell should have been more honest and straightforward with tackling my compliant.
Regards,
Animesh0 -
Hi RightyTightyLeftyLoosey,
I am sorry to hear that there are some ongoing issues with the signal in your area.
If you drop me an email to the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject, I can look into this in more detail for you.
Hi,
That's great! I am pleased that our friends over at Vodafone Essar could help you out with this.
Kind regards,
Heidi

I have a slightly peculiar problem with Vodafone - I would currently be in dispute with them over the status of my account, except I can't get any response from them whatsoever! Over the course of the past couple of months all of my attempts to correspond have been ignored (to date, four messages through the website contact form and three letters).
I wonder if anyone has a similar experience?
What, if any, are Vodafone's obligations under contract law to respond to my correspondence? Additionally, my initial correspondence (both electronic and written) informed Vodafone of a change to my address, which has been reiterated at every subsequent stage. So far as I can tell, they have made no effort to verify the new address and, in the absence of any contact from them, I therefore believe that they have not updated their records and so are holding an incorrect address. Does this place them in contravention of the fourth principle of the Data Protection Act?
Apologies if this is in the wrong place...0 -
Hi TK421,
It's disappointing to hear that you've yet to receive a reply to your previous correspondence but thanks for making us aware of this.
To enable us to assist you further could you email us via the contact details in our profile page here and mark the email for my attention?
Once you're in touch please be assured that I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Best wishes,
Lee

i have been looking over my bill for the last few months and discovered i am being taxed ontop of my price plan and itemised purchases.
could please explain to me why £5 data in vat comes out higher on my bill as im taxed at the end of the bill
raised this over the phone will 191 and got told the bill was not wrong and can be charged what they like the person i spoke to did not offer to look into this or question this i have been arguing this with voda since the VAT rate change beginning of the year but to not availe also why am i charge 20% on purchases before the change happened.
something very suspect is going on with voda billing.0 -
Because VAT is charged at the rate prevailing when the bill is produced. Nothing to worry about there.
Are you sure the bill doesn't just show VAT itemised separately ?0 -
I just wanted to add that Ive had the same problems with connecting to the internet in Edinburgh for the past week or so, as has my other half and several of my friends who are also on vodafone. RightyTightyLeftyLoosey have you had any explanation as to why this is happening?0

Hi matt9511,
I am sorry to hear that the VAT on your bill is causing some confusion. If you would like me to take a look into it for you, drop me an email to the address here and include WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject and a link to this thread.
I will be more than happy to explain it in more detail.
Hi TeaLover,
There is actually a known fault in Edinburgh at the moment and it has been logged on our Faults Board here. It is currently being worked on by our engineers. If you subscribe to the thread, you will receive emails when the thread is updated with more information.
Kind regards,
Heidi

There's been a problem in my part of the city since June (EH2), which I have raised as a complaint with CISAS, as its now September and there has been no resolution. I must say that I was on the southside of the city (EH8, Newington) more than usual over the last couple of weeks (due to the Fringe) and not only did I have no 2G/3G, I was getting no network coverage at all.0
