Hi TwistedPsycho,
It's disappointing to hear that we couldn't supply the phone you wanted.
The reason you weren't able to port across is because you were taking another Vodafone contract and you cannot port within the same network.
If there are any other handsets that you would be interested in then please do get in touch and we will be happy to discuss it further.
Kind regards,
Heidi

vodafone contract nearly up about a week remaining.got pac code a few weeks ago because retentions couldnt offer me a decent deal,to cut a long story short i lost the text message with pac code and phoned up today to see if they could tell me it,but to no avail so just over a week till number vanishes for good as gave my 30 days notice, sorry to leave vodafone but know people who just joined orange and tmobile get better deals than me and they just joined is there any way to get another code0

Other networks have no problems with reminding you the PAC.
However, even simpler problems take weeks and months to be solved by useless telephone CS of Vodafone. No doubt it is in the system and it is just a matter of some competence to retrieve it.0 -
LOL - Unfortunately Heidi, the only offer both retentions AND the web Relations team could offer was buy the handset sim free and go for a 12 month sim-free contract, which defeats the object.
I would have gone for an E7, but I went and tested one in store and it was brand new from the unopened box... and broken in less than 30 minutes!Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -

Hi TwistedPsycho,
That's not good to hear!
We can certainly issue you with a PAC code, however it would only work if porting to a different service provider.
If you drop me an email to the address shown here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject, I can help you further.
Kind regards,
Heidi

Heidi,
the poster said he wanted to go to CPW in his original post, since they are a different SP, then he should have been given the pac in the first place, just because it's a migration and not a port makes no difference.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Apparently Spirit, I can not move my number to a Vodafone contract at CPW because its still Vodafone.
Heidi, I already have my PAC number, I just find it a huge disappointment. If you can suggest a Symbian Anna phone OTHER than the Nokia E7 (which I managed to break fresh out of a newly opened box when I was in a VF store the other week - reliability an issue?) I am all ears.Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -
