It's not a question of "the most effective way". The ONLY way you're ever likely to get the simplest of problems sorted is via the web team on here. If you read through the endless Vodafone (full of complaints) threads you'll see how to contact them using the code which ensures it ends up on their desk. Otherwise you'll still be wasting time in another four months - and noticing that most of those hoops are repeat journeys!

Thats what i cant understand about customer services, its so simple a problem and they make it complicated as possible, in my situation i could swap the phone for a different model OR cancel the contract fully, give them the lemon phone back and move to a different network, they have diagnostics which i tried over and over, i had sent it to repairs with no use, i had a courtesy phone which worked fine it was plastic.

I told the woman yesterday the courtesy phone works fine as its plastic, but this metal does not - her response was that her brother lives in a house that has no reception and that my house was made of mortar :rotfl:

I repeated again, with the courtesy phone and any other phone i use there is no problem with the reception at all, and that this metal phone is the cause - then she said she would transfer me and cut me off back to the main menu.

If this is the level of customer service i am receiving i would like to leave Voda right now, i can see myself being frustrated in the next 2 years of this contract.

I believe they are trying as hard as possible not to help here, and would like to know how to escalate this problem, manager does not call i will write to him instead.
    Owed out = lots.

They won't - and writing will also be ignored. This is VERY old ground!

Cheers Heidi, i demanded to speak to management, i was put on hold and eventually someone called Jill answered and said all managers are in meetings and she is a floor walker and will guarantee a manager will speak to me in a few hours, but having heard this before i said no i want to cancel the contract now. She said she will get a manager then ......

So Manager Andrew came on line, said what was the make and model so i told him, he said hold on a minute while i check the site, he looked at the reviews of the C301 and said yes there are known reception issues and i can send it back, delivery of a C201 (plastic) will be tomorrow between 8am and 6pm, 29th June, and hopefully its the end of the reception problem.

    Thanks for your help.
