    Aaaah yes *nods sagely*

I have been doing a bit of that myself this week; hence the absence & the need to declare a naughty spend of £36.18 however, for that shocking amount I have acquired a pair of lovely River Island Trousers which I know I will wear loads (when I shrink the necessary inches to be able to do them up :o) A gorgeous River Island Bag, a really nice Next spring jacket & a beeeyooootiful pair of high wedge heeled red Faith sandals ( to replace another pair that I just cannot bear to wear as they are agony).

Although I'm not counting P&P in my allowance for the year, I am entering it on my nerdy expenses spreadsheet for reference purposes & it sure is adding up _pale_.

    I'm having a Freedom Friday -

wearing a daring clingy ish Warehouse dress that's a bit low at the front so I've thrown on a vest top underneath & completed the look with a longish cardi ( to cover the curves) leggings & boots. My method is going to be to try new outfits on a friday & if I feel comfortable wearing them all day, then they will be worn for work too ( when I have the courage to reveal more than the usual black bottom half)

As to the Gok sparkly top - I really liked it but confess to having said to DD that rather than spend 2 days of my life to create it for £30 ... I would have just bought one for whatever the price.

    Yep, & that's why I'm here :p

I would like to have the figure to wear it :rotfl:
had a go at freedom friday for work today...asked dH what he thought of my outfit which consisted of black leggings/purple /black /beige print short skirt/beige t shirt tucked in with wide pruple belt and a black shrug. He normally just says "you look wonderful dear"BUT today he said NO!...asked what was wrong but he could not say .DS2 said its not quite right.I changed the shrug to a ss purple cardi and tthen had to go as late.Luckily I was in a small room with 1 pupil(I am an exam invigilator)so not too amny people saw me.I agree with my men the outfit is not quite right but strangely i think it may be due to wearing sandals with it but had to go for comfort and quiet shoes for walking around in exams and was not sure which room would be in(large hall or 1 to 1)

don t think I have anything else to wear leggings with as no black boots to go ontop(also not got the figure for them :()

choir then dance practice tonight so may need to change!!!

Evening all - unoffical me here! No freedom Friday for me today - but was nice and comfy in my fav hoodie that I got from American Eagle last year - goodness knows what I'll do when it wears out - prob have a meltdown. I was also wearing a pair of Ravel boots OH bought me for Xmas YEARS ago (with a little help from me..pointing them out...trying them on and marching him to the cash register lol!) which I wear LOADS.

Don't know if any of you recall but I bought a dress on eBay last week from Express (well I'm 99.9% sure it's a copy but still looks nice) It arrived today and fits much better than the othe size I bought (much more acceptable for a wedding) but there are some slight imperfections in the stitching of the chiffon  The girl has said I can return it but then I either need to bid on another and it's not 100% garunteed to arrive before the wedding (5th March) and it's a bit of a risk as I have one in my posession now - so as a compromise I've asked for the postage to be refunded. I can prob fix the imperfections myself and having £10 of £47 refunded will make it a little easier to swallow that it needs a few 'Gok' bits (WITHOUT the scissors!)

I am just catching up with this week's Gok, and my first thought about that diamonte top was 'wouldn't half of those come off in the wash'? (followed by £300! you gotta be kidding! that might be Bond Street High Street price, that's not my high street price!)

OH did say he'd buy me that lovely fringed dress Brix had for £845 ...I fear he might have been joking though :rotfl::rotfl:

  • No freedom days this week I'm afraid.

I need to find a black vest kind of thing to wear under my coast jumper worn once off fleabay which is a bit too wide for my shoulders and too low cut for work. If I get one of these I can wear it!

Now where can I find something suitable to be a bit higher cut and be very plain?

Also just enjoying the love in on Sat Kitchen between James and Gok!
