Morning all - I had my "freedom Monday" actually on the day itself - but by default really .
What I thought was the start of a mouth ulcer on Friday ended up me going to the dentist yesterday and being told it's a severe infection near my impacted wisdom tooth - so was sent home with antibiotics and was told I was going to be miserable for the next few days - you're not kidding there mate:( - the pain is 24, 7 - the only relief I get is about an hour after the pain relief combo with the antibiotics kick in - for a hour or so anyway.

Anyway even in my state of pain I managed to drag on a pair of black comfy joggers and a yellow t- shirt I used to wear for the gym and mooched about the house yesterday, well stayed in bed till about 3pm as pain was unbearable - only to be told by DD2 that in fact the joggers were actually a pair of PJ bottoms - no wonder I got some funny looks when I went to the pharmacy to buy more meds!

Well at least I wore them - can't remember even getting them/receiving them :o

Rosemary54 - I do love reading about when you go away on holiday,it makes me smile:) - Have a lovely time - I think the long skirt sounds fab.

LOL - on this note, have a peep on Y*uT**e for the ry**airs demo video on how to pack a 10kg suitcase - its done to the tune of Benny Hill - very cleverly done - but bear in mind the clothes going into the bag is for male student but still there are some good tips - I think you can access the video through a link on the airlines site.

It was made after a row with some Belgian students were thrown off a flight due to a problem with luggage fees.
forgot to say most of the weight was from her toiletry bag:eek:DH said he had never seen so much stuff made my stash look small.I loved his comment back at stansted when he said she better make suer she removed all her knickers from his case or his wife might get annoyed:rotfl:

Hi all, i haven't posted for ages - sorry about that. However I was paying attention to the clothesI own. I completely cleared the ironong basket except for 3 items which I ironed but need buttons etc. Still hanging on the back of a dining chair a week later :o.
Putting away all the ironed clothes initiated a wardrobe space/hanger crisis, but luckily I was able to order 50 grip-to-me hangers which arrived end of last week, and I spent this morning re-hanging everything in the 2 double wardrobes in my bedroom. Of course I already had 75 other G2M hangers! I love them as they're all uniform and take up so little space. The new ones cascade as well, so 4 tops hang in the space of 1.

I then filled the box the hangers arrived in with the very varied ones from the wardrobe - they'll go to my nephew who's doing a car boot next month to help towards his wedding. He can also have the two big bags of clothes stashed behind the sofa that were supposed to be going to the charity shop! Some were put in today, but most have been sitting there for about a year! :o

The only item I've bought is a white t-shirt from M&S to replace the ones I killed last summer. I may have to go through the t-shirt drawer & have a look if any are no longer fit for purpose. I have a favouite that's older than my son - and he'll be 31 this year!

Keep posting ladies I love reading what you write!

    Good evening girlies :)

My only freedom item was some lace look tights today - have got to say, I rarely get compliments but everytime I wear groovey tights I get compliments! I ripped my diamond ones this morn, argh putting fingers through em!! So I think my next purchase may be some groovey tights. My only urgh is that due to my sie and curvey shape I find tights hard to buy!

Oh Debbie that sounds awful - I actually winced reading it - hope you're feeling better soon.

Not posted for a while, as haven't had much to say/report. I've lost a bit of momentum with the Freedom days - I think that Freedom week wiped me out!

Have been good and not bought anything since the beginning of the month. Well I have been trying to buy a patagonia () jacket, but have tried to buy it on-line twice and somebody has always beat me to it - clearly not meant to be!

is it only me who thinks gok has lost it?Last night he used £300+ worth of diamonte and took two days to apply to a mesh top.Which of us would dare to do that even if a/ it would not wipe out at least a years budget and b/ presuming we had a tailors dummy to do it on?
His use of picnic blankets ,tops used as skirts and cardis back to front and radically altered was beyond me too, surely it would be easier to make your own from scratch?
What I want from Gok is ideas of how to put together high street clothes(preferably at a lower price than the one she mutilates) in a modern fashionable way, mixing different brands to get an individual look....is this asking too much???

As for putting clashing floral prints together well it might look okay on a 6 foot size zero model but we live in the real world here....DH would think I had finally cracked:rotfl:

finally thought the reall women he used looked for the most part worse esp the girl in the red dress who looked fatter and the blonde who could hardly walk on the incredibly high heels.

OMG am I turning into a grumpy old woman????

(the one outfit I did like was his metalic one with trousers and jacket but still think that costs about a year and a halves budget:eek:)
off to aqua fit today and as I have to go to tesco for petrol I may have to go inside as I have a £5 off £25 clothes coupon and could do with some t shirts and maybe even shorts if they have any yet!

rosemary54 - it isn't just you (either that or my grumpy old woman persona has finally emerged and isn't going away). I normally love what he does. I too thought the metallic outfit with the hat was the only decent one. And that red dress looked awful, didnt suit the lady at all IMO.

just read what I wrote above, am deffo GOW forever now. so there:rotfl:

....am getting all excited! As a way of easing myself in gently, I fetched in my little tan Bronx ankle boots which I bought about 3 years ago to wear 'for best'. I have worn them twice.

Got them on my feet now. Haven't got up from desk yet to walk in them, feel all giggly inside like I have a big secret. That should chase off the GOW from my last posting.

    Me again

Just spent £16.98 online at N3w L**K in the sale. Also got free delivery (usually £3.95)

    I bought:
    3 prs opaque tights (3 for 2 offer) = 5.98
    Blue gypsy top (was £12.99) = £7
Black top for work (was 9.99) = £4

orig price inc. delivery was £35.90, I paid £16.98, therefore although I spent I also saved £16.92 so it's all good......

    £183.02 left.

also, have been to the kitchen and the loo wearing ease-into-freedom-Thursday boots. still inwardly giggling.....

well had a little spend at tescos today.there was a spend £25 get £5 off thing on:)so bought a swimsuit for £10(this is an essential so does not get taken off my total:rotfl:)so fro a total of £25 I got the swimsuit plus 2 pairs of shorts and 2 vest tops so am declaring £15 for the shorts and vests please....they are not great but better than wearing my(very) old long shorts that do not flatter at all.the new ones are short shorts and flare out a bit to balance my top as GW would say!
also bought 12 red roses for £1.75:):):)(to make up for the ones DH forgot to buy....AGAIN!)

total budget left £231....does not sound much when I look at the price of clothes in my fav shops(East and Phase eight!.......I tned to look at their new stuff and remember what I like for sale time when they have very good reductions :)
