Oh dear.
I returned a pair of trousers to Next that I'd ordered in the Christmas sale and which had only just been delivered. They didn't fit. Good, I thought. That's another £15 not spent. :A:A
Trouble is my eye was caught by several nice looking tops as I walked out of the shop and before I knew it, when I logged online last night I found that £165 of Next clothes had fallen into my online basket and that delivery was today!
They've just been delivered and I'm about to open them. I hope I can be sensible, or it will have blown a huge part of my clothes budget for the whole year...!:o0 -
Well I've had my first clothes spend of the year. I've bought a new pair of jeans from M&S - £19.50, although I did have a £10 voucher, so it's actually only a £9.50 spend! So, just £90.50 left now!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

Afternoon All
I did go into town yesterday to see if anything inspired me - although I still haven't checked what I need to replace in my wardrobe I took my b'day money - I know its dangerous just wandering the shops without knowing what I need with money in hand - but to be honest I saw nothing until I went into Mr TK**X.
But I didn't buy any clothes - instead I purchased the silk scarf by Liberty's that they have produced for Comic Relief that's on sale in there - if no one has seen it, its a really pretty red and cream paisley and very cleverly has the red nose theme among the cherry red blossoms around the edge.
I normally could never afford a piece of Liberty and at £12.99,of which £4 goes to comic relief, I think I have got myself a bargain - something that's pretty & versatile and supporting CR in a classy way .
Wore it yesterday as a neckerchief but then disaster struck this morning - took dog for walk and it fell out my pocket - never noticed until on way way back and I picked it up:eek:.
Anyway its now been hand washed and is drying over a clothes dryer in kitchen.:o
Anyway thanks Dad as I used part of birthday money to buy it plus its an accessory so still no declares on either counts.Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

I have a spend of £7 to report today, it broke down into the following...
£2 for a 3 pack of socks with sheep on them (all my socks seem to be falling apart at the moment, there comes a point where I have to admit that it's time for them to go)
£5 on a pair of dacshund pyjamas (I needed these, well not specifically dacshund pyjamas but another pair of winter pyjamas to replace the ones I had to throw away due to having a massive hole in the bum!)
I always feel guilty throwing away clothes, I'm not creative enough to know what else to do with them / if they can be mended but I want that to change.Thank you competition posters!

This thread moooooves!!!
Ok ladies I am going speed dating on Wednesday, what shall I wear???0 -
Hi all,
Still lurking and no spends for me. I have been into town but ask myself do I need it: and am still telling myself no!
I have just dyed an old pair of jeans that were not really worn but looked very washed out (not in a vintage cool way: they just looked scruffy). They have come out brilliantly: and I put in an old white shirt that had gone grey and it has come out a lovely navy too! So new jeans and shirt for £6 cost of the dye. Very MSE and nothing spent yet!0 -

Ooooh how exciting (& brave) :j
I think you should wear something that you feel your absolute best in, something that you know looks good on you & will help boost your confidence.
Best of luck with it & do please remember Lula's Mantra :
"F*** Off, I'm FABULOUS" .
Keep saying this to yourself before you go in :A

Errr....although I haven't officially joined this challenge, I have been following it and must confess some sins today...went shopping with my friend and bought a(nother) grey top in TK M*xx for £8, nearly bought a very sweet little blue dress with white hearts on it, but one had a small pull under the arm and on the other in my size the print was bad - so £13 'saved'. Also bought some new leggings and a replacement vest top for one I bought in HnM last year that has a small hole coming in it (and the armpits have gone a bit manky) total spend £10. Hmmm...could have been worse, did see a LOVELY jumper in O*sis but it was £35
Out of 3 items I bought, only the leggings were on my '2011 to buy list' thoughFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
