Hi everyone, I hope it is not too late to join this year's challenge.

I am not that fond of clothes shopping (I thought), and was shocked yesterday when I tallied up what I had spent on clothes so far this year. I was a bit ashamed of myself when I realised I have already spent 211.87 plus 60.44 on clothes for my OH :-(

I realise I have bought many things I did not really need, and think this challenge will be a useful way of being more mindful of how much I actually spend. So if it is not to late to join, I would like to aim for 250 this year. However if I do manage to drop a full dress size I would like to set aside another 250 for a new wardrobe. Plus 150 for clothes to my OH. So can you put down Gigglepig for 250+150(OH)+250 (only if new dress size) please?

Freedom Monday was a dress I haven't worn for a while and black suede, fringed shoeboots :D

I am doing some 'free-shopping' - I am sorting out my work colleagues birthday pressie, but the problem is i dont know her that well... and im perving at clothes websites already got a bag im in love with! I don't own a brown bag but thats for a reason I have nothing to wear it with!

Going to go 'free-shopping' on saturday - something to do. And going to finish birthday shopping for my sister too - budgeted. So hopefully no additional spends...

    Currently £36

Welcome to the fun Gigglepig - will add you & your total to the members list.

Rosemary - do hope you feel better soon

My freedom monday was a poor effort - a different necklace was all I managed, I've regained the lost 2lbs :(
  • Hi everybody! Please can I be added to as I really cant seem to stop myself buying clothes......seems like Im in good company though!!

Can you put me down for £40 per month so that's £440 for the year (as Ive missed January).

Ive spent £18 on some leather look leggins so far (grrr) but I did have £5 cashback to apply to them so that's just £13 off my total leaving me with £27 left to spend this month.....doesnt sound like a lot does it lol!!
    cc debt [STRIKE]£2817[/STRIKE] £0.00:beer:
  • I'm afraid I didn't make it to Freedom Monday this week - after last week I was all out of inspiration!:rotfl:Will be back on it next week though.

No more spends to declare, which is a good thing too given my current total. I have however put a few things that I don't wear on eBay this week, so will probably be adding the winnings to my total as a buffer, although in reality the money will be going to pay off the credit card. Does my creative accounting make sense?!

Hope everybody is having a good day :D
