I've spent £14.19 on the animal website before NY, but as it's on my CC I'll have to pay this month, got a bag, water bottle, hat and a keyring, bags for work tho, so my total is £185.81, in my defence the bag was £6.14 never bought one so cheap.0

I'd love to join please.
A bit scared because I have a huge weakness for sales clothes: M&S, Next and tend to have a big splurge 2/3 times a year if not more, depending on when sales are.
I'll say my budget is £500, fully aware that I have some items to be delivered from the Next sale when they are restocked that will prob total about £150 already...
Thanks.:(:(:eek::eek::p0 -

I bought a few things in M&S today:
Per Una big fluffy pink dressing gown £8
Silvery-purple balcony bra £3
Long black cardigan with shawl collar £8.
I lusted over the new-season shoes they've got in at the moment. Some of them are stunning! But mostly at the £45 mark so not feasible.
I also bought some cookie monster knickers in Primark: £2.50
Cumulative total: £23.50 (£176.50 left)
Questions:
How many bras should a woman own? How many times do you wear a bra before you wash it? And how many amongst us wear matching knickers?

Fantastic on the bargains lady! As to bras, I think I own 5 or 6, but personally I don't think you can ever have enough... there are always one or two favourites aren't there. I wear matching knickers once in a blue moon, usually when I've bought them and freshly resolved to be less of a scruff! Then they wander off or get scruffy...
I don't know how often I wash a bra, I try to hand wash them to stop the wires going AWOL so tend to wear them for as long as possible then wash them all together, 3 or 4 days? Maybe?~Nym~

Hello & welcome to floella80 & catslovelycats

Glad to see everyone is getting bargains. As for bras - loads & always buy with matching knickers but sometimes wear with coordinating, depending on what suits the outfit best. Wear once before washing or maybe twice if I dont put it on til halfway through the day.

No spends here yet, went through all my clothes and have folded and hung everything nicely and only got rid of a few things - think it'll be use it or loose it with a few other bits though.
Regarding bras I'm really boring and just have nude tshirt bras, never have matching underwear. I have 2 or 3 on the go at once, I go and get fitted properly for each one at Bravissimo and they aren't cheap and I change size so much I wear until I feel they are going a bit and then go back and get measured. I was on the hand wash setting on my machine putting them in bags.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I have a spend of £27 to report
. For this I got a nice skirt, pair of jeans, a top and 3 pairs of tights. The jeans are nice n slimming! 0 -
I'm feeling very pleased with myself as havent spent anything on clothes for a whole 10 days now! I am avoiding the shops like the plague and resisting the temptation to even peek at the sales.
Intersting bra debate - I have 6 and always buy 2 pairs of matching briefs. I used to have loads but just like the rest of the clothes in my wardrobe found I was only wearing my favourites so now buy the nicest I can afford but not so many. I wash bras after about 3 wears, usually by hand - keeps them nice for longer.
:-)Pay off as much as I can in 2012.

morning everyone. I am proud to say no spends yet.
I have a few matching underwear sets but I'm lazy and tend to wear comfortable black knickers I keep telling myself that I am going to start wearing the matching sets but I never do. I really need to throw the black knickers because they are so scruffy but they are so comfortable. I wash bras after two wears and they go in the machine with everything else.0 -
Re bras and knickers
I never match them
Just buy stuff I like in the sales
I'm a colourful girl underneath the outerlayers!0
