Ahaha here you all are.....
Nice to see that the ol' debate of heels v's flats is still ongoing - I could go on forever about shoes but I think its best I don't....unless you want me to;)
Well its great to be back on board the 2011 CCC - work colleagues even asked me today if I was to carry on my "madness" this year - too right I am! Although am sticking to last years rules Lula, if that's ok?
Spent New Years Eve in town and was dragged round the shops by dd3 who has been carefully planning to spend her Xmas money in the sales and she stuck to her guns buying the trousers in Z*ra she wanted and the top and sweatshirt from Ja*k Wil*s she has been after since Summer - and that was it . Went round most of the major shops and I never spent a bean on myself or her! Yippee!
I too have gazed into my undies draw and its looking a little grey in there so will have to do something about that at some point.
Had a email at work and it looks like someone is hoping to hold a charity ball/party/prom frock sale where you bring your posh stuff along, put a price on it and you ten percent goes to a local charity so might have to have look into getting some of my stuff to that.
DD1 is hoping to a clothes swap shop again at Uni around Easter as part of her raising money for their end of year show- so am up for that too - great fun and costs little or nothing and new clothes wardrobe into the bargain.
Did sort of sort out my shirt drawer but I need to re think when and where I will wear stuff this year before I go too mad and get rid of it all.
Definitely going to get more tie on brown labels to hang on my hangers so I can write down last time I wore something, who I was with etc. Not for everyday stuff but for the going out posher stuff -not that I go out often!

I was hoping i might join too, £300 for little old me, DD1 & DD2.
I love rummaging around charity shops and relish grabbing a bargain, so hoping this should be a realistic budget - school uniforms and school shoes always take a chunk of money!!

Is this to prove what gets worn or to avoid repeat showings?
I don't think any of my posh stuff gets worn enough to worry about the same people seeing it again which is probably a bad sign... :rotfl:

I wear heels sometimes when I go out but at 5' 8 I don't feel I need skyscrapers which is just as well as I'd break my neck, I'm too clumsy, I've decided thanks to this challenge to give 2 items of clothing that I haven't worn for ages or doesn't fit well to charity every month, which hopefully will clear a bit of space and I might spot some clothes I'd forgotten about and everyone will think there new cos I forgot to wear them, it's a challenge in itself I hate parting with clothes but I'm determined to do it.0

Both lol as I had some of my stuff for years including a long black dress I have had for about 14 years and still wearable.
Plus I attend same things each year therefore same people(family stuff) - and by posher stuff I really mean including the nicer/posh stuff(its not really "posh, posh" its just in better nick as I wear it less!) I wear to the local pub on the rare occasion I go with mates to do the quiz( I think I probably went to it 4/5 times last year), but I did last year attended a couple of charity do's to help out and had to dress up but work hard - hence going to the posh frock swap/sale thing.Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

I would love to join in please. I've already bought running top/trousers, hooded top, fleece top, t-shirt, tunic, necklace and earrings set, bracelet, cami top, pyjamas and ankle boots. I understand these are not included as I bought them before the end of the year, mostly in sales.
I will set my budget as £150 to include everything except new walking and running shoes, as these are usually £40+ a pair and if I do need both this year, that will be rather a large chunk gone.
I will need to buy some new work trousers at some point, but also trying to lose a few pounds, so putting off buying anything else until I've lost at least the 4lbs I put on in December!0
