  • I entirely agree Swinstie. I would've bought one immediately if someone told me I was wearing a granny style bra... :)

  • I have a spend of £15 to report - it was a bargain sale rail item in River Island. I'm very impressed with it actually because it will make up the main part of my costume for a concert I'm going to in March and I was expecting it to be a lot more awkward to find without paying a bomb. Now I just need to adapt it...
    Thank you competition posters!

Hello again & another warm welcome to :

topcat9, lou1981, Laurent1369 & rosemary54 who will be joining us shortly, when she finds the thread :p

Nice to have at least one male on board :T Be warned though Laurent1369 - Shoe Gal will have you wearing 3 inch heels before you escape :rotfl:

I wear a mixture of flats & heels & after much sampling have discovered that I can only wear certain heels; I have some fab 4 inch slim heels for work which are so comfy & others which are only 2 inches & yet cause so much pain after a couple of hours that I now carry a spare pair of boots & spare pair of shoes in the car.

Interestingly, someone once told me that the smaller the distance between the heel & the main sole, the more comfy the shoe is & it does seem to work for me. (apart from the amazing shimmery red wedge sandals which Shoe Gal made me buy :p a couple of years ago & are agony after about an hour

Brilliant bra sales technique you were subjected to Swinstie - would work on anyone :o.

Off to add new members before you change your minds :D

    xx

You're so right! I've been known to wear heels then pop into 24hr tesco for a pair of cheap flats! Oh dear
