£4 to declare, on unworn cream wool handknit cardigan. Was camping and forgot how cold it gets when sun sets. Is lovely and will be great for winter.
Edit: Am thinking of a wardrobe clear out. Get rid of anything not worn in a year. Anyone else up for it?Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

MW, I have been doing the clearout and selling my unwanted clothes and makeup on eBay. Problem is, eBay only let you sell a small amount per month before they try and make you register as a business....which means my backlog is going to take forever to clear at this rate!!0

Hi everyone
Just popping in to say just read an email to say I have won £50 of M & S vouchers through work:j -
Now the problem is when I get them,do I either
a) use them to buy DD2 bday pressie in fortnights time
b) use them at Xmas to buy pressies/or nice food
c) use them after Xmas(sales) to buy pressies/or nice food/things
d) use them just on myself as part of the crazy clothes challenge
ahhhh too much choice - ten minutes ago I didn't have this problem and now I have - see what happens when I am given choice -
Apart from that I am happy to report that the M@alan dress I bought a while back and has had outings to a wedding, my DD1 graduation,a meal out, was also worn to my friends 40th in London on the night we went to the theatre - I was actually complemented wearing it by this lovely young girl who was serving us.
She'd asked if it was by some designer from Deben@ms(cant rem who she said as I was in shock at that point) as her Mum had one similar in blue and wore it for Ascot the week before and was photo'd by the company for wearing it! LOL did she looked even more shocked than me when I said it was from M@lan at £14 and the sequin throw was £3.50 from a vintage shop!:rotfl:
Oh I think I have had my monies worth out of it already!

:oAww thanks ShoeGal and Rosa:o - that's really nice of you to say so - I only managed it because of the fab people here on this forum and all the wonderful encourangement you all give - and of course the wonderful Lula who keeps us all in check.
Actually have just had an invite to a friends leaving do - might have to drag the dress out again in a few weeks time - some have seen it at the wedding - but I don't care now!:rotfl:.
But I might have to do an emergency repair on the sequin shrug as it seems to be losing quiet a few of the sequins all over my carpet!:eek:That will keep me quiet for a bit.Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

I appear to have accidentally bought some Skechers winter boots - I have been coveting them for about a week (after I saw them in a brochure.) I saw them earlier on the M&M Direct Ebay shop with a 20% off voucher... I also had about £15 in my Paypal account, so have 'only' actually paid £23.71. I don't really need to eat for the rest of this week anyway!
:D But they are soooo furry and pretty and lovely. I will go away now and stop justifying! I will update my total once they have arrived.
Debbiedeejay - you are getting loads of wear from your dress, good on you!0 -
The boots have arrived, they are beautiful and I heart them very much!
My total is now £103.50.
Trying to think of anything else I may need for the winter. I would definitely like one of those long cardigans with a belt and perhaps some new pyjamas.
If I carry on eating the way I currently am, I will need to buy a size bigger in trousers, so think I should start eyeing up running clothes instead! I fully intend to start jogging again as soon as I'm rid of this pesky cold! Need to get in shape for my sister's wedding in January as I will be a bridesmaid.0 -
Good clothes and shoes week this week
- Wore a pair of brown leather wedges to work that got load of nice comments instead of buying a new pair and shoved an insole in them instead and got on and wore them. They are a little bit too big but hey let's get them worn!
- Also managed to fit into a pair of grey jeggings I've had in the wardrobe for 2years which were always a bit too tight and then very small and didn't fit as I expanded. Anyway, this week they fitted! So instead of buying a new pair of work trousers I wore these
- Then wore a long top bright with flowers I bought in the sale from marks and sparks years ago and again had wavered on sending this to the charity shop and loads of people said they liked it - bizzare!
And, doing this challenge and trying to stick to the mantra of wearing what I have.
At work we were on about the Christmas do and I thought shall I buy a new dress? Then thought why don't I wear one I have in the wardrobe? One I have only worn once? One I haven't worn for years that now fits again. Either way is fine and I have loads of shoes I can wear without buying a new pair.
And I'll be doing the same this weekendfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
