just got an email from phase eight and most annoyed to see the top I bought from the new range is already £10 off esp as have not worn it:mad:...ok so I did buy with a 20% off coupon saving £7 ,I hardly ever buy full price and as I point out to DH it only takes a few weeks till new stuff is reduced but this one was reduced really quickly...sign of the times?
just been looking again at Mary Portas range and cannot see what is special about it that all women over 50 need:rotfl:their is a !!!!!cat bow blouse!!!thought they went out years ago? that cost over £150:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:that I am sure marks would do for a fraction of the price, can't comment on quality as we do not have a house of frazer, her shoes with Clarks are also very expensive and I doubt very much that they would fit my wide feet:rotfl:0 -
Whoops...I usually lurk on here a lot but feel the need to confess that I did make a purchase in topshop yesterday... a fine knit 'oatmeal' coloured dress, £44 but 20% off (as I signed up for a dreaded store card...but don't worry, won't be using it), -£18 on a gift card from my b'day last year = £17.20. so not too bad. Now just need to try it on (couldn't be bothered yesterday) to check I really do like it.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hey guys,
& a pre emptive welcome to carer adrian for next year.
I have yet more spends to confess:
1 x pretty green ditsy flower top at 99p from ebay. I love it already.
1 x long floaty skirt also from ebay at 99p. I really like that too.
So, whilst I'm over my spend allowance ( by a pound or two :rotfl:) I am getting some truly bargainous items.
Still in love with my ebay bag & am using it every day & now so over feeling I must have a black one. The cost per use of that must be down to about 50p now. Still wearing the ankle strap shoes regularly too so the cost per wear of those is now probably about £1.
I think I'm finally falling in to my own style now, which seems to be a case of throw various items together until it clicks & I feel happy with the result :rotfl:.
I'm being sorely tempted by a pair of boots on ebay at the moment, not cheap at £45, but very very fab ... I'm trying to resist.
I definitely need to be Clothesually Challenged again next year0 -
I was managing to be surprisingly good until a silk chemise insisted on coming home with me today - £28. It can hang on the wardrobe for a while til I decide whether it's really staying. Very pretty and also flattering but pointless in any other way since it would require covering up to do anything outside my bedroom - well apart from make the postie's day :rotfl:
Thinking of going through my wardrobe next weekend to swop in all the winter stuff. Am not quite sure of my style at the moment and not finding a whole lot of inspiration in the shops, so might raid the library for ideas. Then again now that I have free time I can waste it watching repeats of What Not To Wear and Ten Years Younger on Really...

Tried it on at home with a pair of jeggings and it looks nice. Planning to wear it with thick tights and my new flat grey boots which were a birthday present.
Better update the total at some point as I'm sure I've gone over, after buying the jeans as well this month. Oh well never mind!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Chemise went back. Pretty but not quite right - decided would rather put the money towards something I do really love.

Well sweetie, if you want me to convince you not to buy them, then for goodness sake DO NOT post link ... they are gorgeous
I'm rubbish at this, truly rubbish.
Well done Rosa - will now endeavour to emulate you ... I wouldn't recommend holding your breath though :rotfl:0
