I'm not even part of this challenge but every time I browse or shop, I think of this thread...
I just bought some essential tights from Primarni and a dress at a discount from work to wear as uniform. However, I'm still selling a good amount of stuff on eBay so the new stuff is being paid for with the proceeds of these sales.0 -
Hello Everyone - here to declare £26 on an essential pair of jeans.. seeing as I have had to throw all my other pairs out due to a "thighage rubbing all the way thru" situ.. (I surely am not the only one that gets that???).
Tried Primarni, Matalandos, peacocks, but tbh they just didnt fit my wee rotund 5"3 stature!

:rotfl: no, I do too and I thought it was just me...:rotfl:
Everybody else's jeans seemed to wear at the knees and hems but maybe it happens to us all and other people just chuck their jeans earlier... being less MSE...?

Evening All:)
Ok have two spends to report. I am going to declare the Zumba pants, for the moment anyway, they are a size small but I can get into them ok, but I migth be stopping the class due to other commitments so might have to re sell on,but they only cost £5.50
Then at weekend it was DD2 bday and since she wanted to spend some of her money on clothes we travelled over to one of those outlets and she only bought a t-shirt and a pair of trainers - but I nipped into Nxt and bought a pretty green floral chiffon casual top reduced from £18 to a fiver so that curbed my want of "spend spend spend" just for the sake of it..:oso not tooooo bad I s'pose!

Long time absent - sorry ladies
but I'm impressed with your low spends.
No no rosemary, you cannot have a sneaky refundWell done on the bargainous boots though, fantastic.
Fellow jeans thin thigh sufferer here. ( the jeans that is, definitely not mine) In fact, a couple of months ago I chopped a pair which had worn through on the hems, & made them into roll ups for the garden ... yesterday I noticed the thighs were going through
.
Bearing in mind these were river island via ebay jeans bought for about £12 a couple of years ago though, I think I've had excellent CPW out of them.
So yes, ebay ...
One very pretty red poppy print, originally dotty p dress for £14.50 unworn. The reason why became apparent when it came out of the wash with a hole by the seam. Some time later with a needle & thread & it's fine. DD loves it so I'll be wearing it tomorrow on her B-Day.
another bit of ebay ...
One pair of 'worn once for a wedding' gorgeous bronze coloured ankle strap shoes. I love these & have worn three times already so the initial £9.50 cost has been well worth it.
yet more ebay ...
Was still searching for the perfect black handbag then came across a darkish grey one in the exact same style as the lovely light tan one ( also ebay) that I used ALL summer. I love this bag as it's the perfect size & shape for me & the grey one had the bonus of pewtery coloured fixings. So that was £7.70 for a brand new, unused leather bag, it arrived yesterday & I have fallen in love with it already & just know I'll use it every day.
Yes, I've been rather self indulgent this year, but hey a girl's gotta have some fun.
I've had to buy more stuff for DD for school; shorts at £4.50, more tights at £3 & something else which I can't remember at the moment.
I've also bought her a new pair of skinnies & cute top for her birthday, but I'll not declare & she has given her approval.
Way, way, way, over budget as seen in updated sig, but it is an experimental year with a whole new school uniform included & I'm already thinking about a more realistic & yet reduced one for next year.
Have a lovely week end all0 -
£20 to declare on a rather fab nightie from M&S. It's so gorgeous I have no guilt whatsoever - and I was good and didn't buy the pjs in the same style 'cos they just weren't fab enough.
Will be having wardrobe swapover in a couple of weekends time and am already not happy - suspect will need new winter work outfits as at least one jersey dress appears to have lost all its stretch. Well, it's that or I have shrunk more than I thought, and the jeans say otherwise. Am also a bit disturbed to find that my weekend wardrobe doesn't seem to have anything in it but jeans. This will need addressing.

I bought a pair of grey jeans today from per una M+S in a size 12 that fitted so fabulously I bought them on the spot! I haven't fitted in an M+S size 12 jeans or trousers for ages = whoopidoo!
Result!
And I used my birthday money to get them which means no spends too!
Just need to make sure I stay at this size so I don't grow out of them next year.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Following this thread with interest, as I am losing weight so keep needing to buy new clothes! But can I ask why some people type M@talan and Asd@ and Pr!Mark, rather than the store names though? Just curious!0

1 in today a pair of pink plastic and diamonte flip flops for which I ask forgiveness from the style police:rotfl:....my excuse for commiting this crime is a/they only cost £1.50 and b/ am going to wear them whilst canoeing on holiday to avoid stones on the river bed.
did anyone watch Mary queen of frocks last night?....how arrogant is that woman?????I used to like her but no more:(she was so rude about the women who made casts of their bodies to show her what real women look like(she being a stick insect)and I totally disagree with her claim there is a gap in the market for women of a certain age!I am 56 and have no trouble buying from the high street without looking mutton dressed as lamb or dowdy. As for the cost of her clothes WOW no wonder she went to Jaeger 1st ,they cost as much!!!0 -
