Lovely, lovely boots kerrigt
Excellent savings there needingaccountabilty :T
HAPPY NEW CLOTHES to all :j:j:j
I'm a bit rubbish at this challenge ( see shameful sig) but I keep trying & am sure that next year will be my golden moment of achievement - going to have to put myself back on the £100 Challenge I think
I really would love to have some new boots ... but simply cannot justify it however hard I try ( dammit).
Hello & welcome to iamahuman & fuddle :hello: lovely to see you both here & any/everyone is welcome to join & at any time throughout the year.
I'll add you to the members list on the first page.0 -

I love it that you're all honest when you have a splurge or go over
I suppose the important thing is that you're watching your spends and that has to be helping.
Looking forward to getting to chat to you all and thank you Lula for adding me to the front page0 -
Another £10.99 to come off for a softshell jacket to replace my hammered and old jacket. Was reduced from £36 (apparently!). It is very good for the price, however very slim fitting so had better keep active to keep trim enough to fit in it!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550

Morning all,
I come here in sackcloth & ashes, dragging my tail behind me in shame.
Went to town to get more school uniform stuff for DD ...
Shoes £35 , trainers £13 (yay for tk maxx) , tights, undies + slippers as hers were worn out £20 (yay for primarni) Total = £68
I needed slippers, new leggings, lounging trackie pants £12.90 yay primarni (all were worn out & needed replacing ) ...
& a fab pair of Poetic Licence shoes £24.99 ( err, still working on an excuse for those, but for now will settle on THEY'RE BLOOMING GORGEOUS) Total spend for me = £37.89.
I am so over budget it's positively shameful. I definitely underestimated DDs new uniform costs, & my own susceptibility to temptation.
I'm worried that there are still another 4 months of temptation left, just how much damage can I do in that time  :rotfl:
Off to update my sig.
The rest of you just carry on not spending as best you can, & as my lovely grampa used to say :

Mum bought me a new pair of boots yesterday for my birthday in October - yeah!!! Phew might not need to splash out on any new ones now
New long grey boots with low heel
Old green suede boots wedge heel
Tan cowboy style boots with medium heel
Rocket Dog black suede boots with fur and toggles
Black leather ankle boots with high heel
New Balance brown walking trainers (nearly knackered!)
Plum faux suede booties
Tan leather knee high boots - never worn after my legs didn't fit into them by then end of the year but hoping they fit this year
Ok, maybe its not boots I need after all but a pair of shoes! Didn't realise how many I pairs I hadMaybe what I need more are some trousers and see what skirts I have to go with them
Good job I listed them all - made it sink in how many pairs I have, what I can wear, what I still need to wear and what I can wear for work and weekends etc
Lula, don't worry hun, this challenge is a learning curve. I have £40 left for the year and I don't think I will make it either even with my clever reduced shopping expeditions!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hi all. More spending to report. But all in sales and needed. Kind of.
£20 on Topshop skinny jeans. I hope I'll actually wear these.
£12 on M&S white shorts. Ditto, only pair of shorts I own!
£9 on summery top. Will definitely wear.
So that's £41 spent. I'll update my sig.
Well, we're all doing better than we might otherwise if not in this challenge.Clothes challenge 2011 £254.08/£500!!!Toiletries challenge 2011 Trying!:j:T:j0 -
HAPPY NEW CLOTHES
to Blonde Ambition
agreed that we are probably doing better, just that some of us need to do better still. Just re read fedupandskints list of boots & now realise that I have no ankle boots, seriously, not a single pair- feel deprived now & am off to see if any bargains are to be had on ebay.
Must not bid, must not bid, must not bid ...0 -
Have returned Friday's purchases - my policy is now to only wear things I love and that make me feel good! No more 'it'll do' - far too much money wasted that way!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0
