Wish I'd been wearing long boots yesterday. Instead I was wearing a long floaty skirt & canvas shoes ... looked like I'd just had a full immersion baptism by the time I got in

It must've been warmer a couple of counties over... so cold here I was considering a jumper before I decided to exercise the dress! So much for summer. Ah well boots and knitted dresses and fab tights back in the shops
... must do a wardrobe review to see what I need for winter. (S*** law being what it is, that should ensure it gets meltingly hot right through to Hallowe'en.)

Sorry, hope you didn't think I was suggesting you were going to waste it, just musing out loud really

Don't worry, I didn't take or mean it with any offence. I've still not bought anything at all clothes or accessories wise...in fact, I keep finding even more things to get rid of. I will need some warm shoes soon though for winter as I have none at all...only converse style shoes which kill me when it's cold. I'd like maybe sheepskin lined but not Uggs...smarter type boots.0 -
Same here, I'm om the look out for some new winter boots - a pair in black and a pair in brown. Fancying some flurry lined modern style smartish ones
Bought a new fleece for winter from argos for £4.99 which fits great, lovely colour and I'll wear it all winter in the house to keep warm!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Phew! I know sometimes words in type can easily be taken several diff ways.
I'm a new converse convert, got a hand-me-up pair from our friend's daughter when they came to stay as her's were too small for her. They're neon pink and I love them
Winter boots are a nightmare to find, I'm about to resign my cowboy ones to the bin (£30 from NL a few years ago, my I've had my monies worth out of them). These are the ones OH has purchased (with a little arm twisting
) for my b'day

Price is somewhat  but I can wear them as an everyday boot as the heel isn't to high, and that's what i was looking for. Look really nice on (if I do say so myself
) and really soft leather. Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Morning All!
Spends to report and declare Lula:)
Just come back from London but spent most of the time sightseeing with friends so we only had 50 mins to do any clothes shopping (yes that's all:o) so we hit primarni in Oxford St.and I managed to get
1 pair linen mix black crop trousers reduced to £4
1 skinny v necked beige cardi £6
1 pack stripey socks £2.50
1 mustard silky vest £2
1 tobacco & white striped rib vest £2.50
1 black thick chunky pattern leggings £6
Total spent £23
Best thing was I "put" together a whole outfit in primarni for one of my friends including shoes as we got totally soaked and she loves it too,so I felt like one os thouse personal shoppers!
Off to update my signature......Can't believe I have actually spent some of my real money, ie.not birthday Xmas or vouchers etc! Felt very strange.......:rotfl:Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

Hey all. Can I join this please?
The reason why I'm pleased I stumbled upon your thread is that I have come so far in stopping splurging on clothes. I've come down a brand name or two (never designer labels but the more expensive high street shops) and now see the delights of Primark and George at Asda.
I am being cautious in saying my budget is £200 for the last 6 months. I hope to come short of this and will try better next year once I'm into the swing. £200 for 6 months is so much better than I was previously.0
