It's not a shop I visit often but I thought they had some really lovely things when I went in yesterday :D
Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!

  • Hello all
Still no new spends...in fact, I'm eBaying even MORE clothes. I would love to win some gift vouchers for a clothing store as I actually can't afford anything even if I wanted it.

£6.99 to declare on a black Cos dress. It is sleeveless with a jersey top and a cotton pleated skirt, with a little cotton pocket on the top. Easy to wear and shape very flattering. Have 2 weeks camping coming up, and think it will get a lot of wear then :D.

P.s. flickering ember, I am very impressed with your competition wins. If you don't mind me asking, how many comps a day would I need to enter to expect so many prizes?

    Hello all,

lovely dress Rosa & yours soudns equally fab museumworker, so Happy New Clothes to you both :D

I won a bid on a jacket on ebay ... it was £27 with P&P but I had a £15 credit on a CC ( don't ask - drunken debt repayment is a bad idea) so added that CC to my paypal Acct so only had to pay £12 out of real money - yay :).

It arrived while I was at work today, so have to collect form post office tomorrow, hope it's a winner ...
    xx
  • MuseumWorker: I enter only for things for either myself or OH or things which can be sold (A lot of people do it, but at least I'm being honest!)

I enter around 100 a day including dailies, Facebook and Twitter. I used to win even more back 3 years ago but now more and more people are comping so the win rate has fallen right down.

No new clothes purchases for me....could actually do with a few bits like winter shoes as I now have none at all but can't afford them even if I could be bothered to go shopping.

Guilt factor on dress now zero as turns out have passed exam, so will keep it as reward factor. As bonus, am now looking forward to winter to wear it with boots :rotfl:

£5 to declare, for pair of cropped next jeans and a pair of craghopper trousers (with detachable legs so can turn into trousers). Am off camping for 2 weeks on Monday, so more than likely both will prove extremely useful!

 Wow that is a huge amount to enter :T, no wonder you win so many. I struggle to do 10 a day at the minute :o - would like to win more but don't know if I could manage entering so many with current lifestyle.

I'm in awe too - though I did just win a R1mmel day to night mascara today :D Am feeling virtuous today as about to do some anti-shopping and have a whole ton of items to return to stores - must be strong and not come out with any more tough :A
