    Afternoon everyone :)

Hugs everyone but Aussielass and Elona 'specially.

I promised myself I wouldn't post on the daily thread until I had suceeded in doing what I said I would and now I have finished I'm here! Normally I post my intentions before they are done and erm ...I'm lucky if 50% are completed but I have actually made 12 cheese and ham muffins, 1 banana loaf, cooked and eaten a full roast pork lunch, cooked a giant ham hock and turned into pea and ham soup and frozen the rest of the ham/gammon in little portions for later. Kitchen has been cleaned, just the bedroom and living room to do! ( I am never normally this productive!).

    Have a good sunday everyone:)

:j back from taking my friend to the fabric warehouse, I spent just 60p on some ribbon, she spent £60 on fabric:j

We met another friend there so had a chat and a hot choccy.

I came home, had lunch bread and cheese and rasps from the garden with yogurt, and as it was a nice afternoon we decided to have a ride out to a local beauty spot and have a walk, nice, it was cold but not too cold.

Just had a cuppa and a warm scone, chicken in the oven for supper, veg preped, fruit in jelly for sweet.:D :D

Its starting to get dark, so off to draw the curtains and shut out the cold, heating has not kicked in so it must be warm in the house, 12th November and the heat still is off more than its on!!! It will be interesting to see how the bill compares with last years. I read the meter monthly and post the readings on the website, I also keep a record of them on the computer.

Enjoy your evening folks...............Heartbeat and Barnaby for me tonight............

Couldn't find the roast dinner thread to add to it so hope its ok that I start my own? Was wondering what everyone is having for dinner today? We're having:

    Roast pork slices
    Roast spuds
    Mashed spuds
    Roast parsnip
Brocolli cheese (prefer broc to cauli)
    Carrots
    Peas
HM Yorkshire puds (I know they're supposed to go with beef but we just love them!)
    HM Gravy

Pudding is strawberries and single cream - I don't normally buy out of season fruit but really fancied them when I was shopping yesterday so was naughty! :o

    Over to you. :)

I had an egg sandwich for lunch, a packet of lamb & mint flavoured crisps a couple of hours ago, and will have sausage & mash with frozen veg and granule gravy for tea. Approx cost of my food today - £1.50.

One thing I'm not is posh - another thing I'm not is conventional! ;) .
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D
