:hello: Goooooooood Morning fellow OS'ers
Had a really lovely self indulgent weekend with very little on the OS front
Have commitments out and about today, so this morning will simply be a quickie whip round, a bath, SC to go on before action stations.
Had some hypnotherapy yesterday, it was looooooooverly :T Also picked up some cookery books to browse through, including one on beans/pulses so I can vary the meals we are having with those. Feel quite inspired
Going to have a little browse while I indulge in wild fennel tea!
Enjoy your MSE Monday and ((hugs)) for those who want/need them
PS: Nice to see some the the Arms/DT regulars popping inMorning studentphil :hello:

Morning all:)
Just about to kick on with the school madness but having a cuppa and a browse first!:D
First day of November Grocery Challenge for me today so I will be off to tesco this morning to stock up on stuff for this week. Will be making bread so need to get yeast.
A windy and drizzly day here in Bognor so I wont get any washing on the line. will just do enough washing to hang on indoor airers i think.
A blitz of front room is needed which I usually do on mondays anyway once the kids head off to school. Once that is done then I start work, I have a big batch of candles i need to make today, and wrapping of orders i got in over the weekend. Monday usually sees me with a huge armful of packages for the post office, mind you im not complaining, i have the best job in the world:)
Later this afternoon i might crack on with some baking. I am also trying to use up all stock cupboard stuff this month and i have a large tin of rhubarb, i feel a crumble coming on:):rotfl:
Ive really slacked on ironing this weekend so thats also on my list for sometime today, possibly this evening a definate excuse to then reward myself with a cup of Green and Blacks hot chocolate:T
Wherever you are and whatever you are doing today......have a great one:)

Morning All :hello:
I've definately fallen off the FLYlady wagon of late. Today's the start of a new week so it's best foot forward.
OH's Boss's father died last week so I may have to go to a funeral today depending on timing (one of OH's distant relatives also died and their funeral is at the same time). *Thinks about bad joke about funerals and buses - none for ages then two come at once, but decide it's in bad taste* I think we may just go to one each
Pink-winged have you tried putting the pill between two bits of cheese? Works for our dogs - but they are both walking galvanised gut buckets and I know cats are far more sophisticated
Ah well, back to the coal face. Need to crowbar DD2 from under the duvet. Must remember she needs her swimming kit today. Then lunch boxes and cleaning. Oh my exciting life
Have a good day everyone

Good morning everyone!
Just a quick visit from me this morning, as have quite a busy day ahead. This includes taking DS to piano lesson this morning, changed from Thursday as we are having a shopping day in France then.
Saturday morning I took my grandma to hospital, she had her hand shut in a car door 2 weeks earlier, & the doctor at A&E said it was not broken, but she got a letter from the hospital the other day with an appointment for this Saturday morning asking her to come back for a check, and sure enough her hand had been broken. Apparently the NHS, in its wisdom, has installed a fantastic new X-ray system, which shows the X-ray on a computer screen rather than the usual way. It all looks very impressive and efficient, but although they had the money to buy it, they have not had the money to train the doctors how to use it!!!! So the doctor who originally saw her did not enlarge the picture enough to see the hairline fracture. The doctor on Saturday was furious & said he would have words with the other doctor! But said it was typical of the NHS. Regarding her hand, he said it was healing well, so nothing more to be done about it, although if it had been seen right away the finger should have been splinted to the next finger. She will be 98 next month, and says she is a "tough old bird!"
Have a good day, all of you!0 -
Hello Everyone
Back at work. That's all I seem to do is work. Got some more Christmas shopping done yesterday and have started to buy in some food and drink ready for the occassion. Used my clubcard coupons to help with the cost. I know you'll all yell at me, but that's the way they help me best.
All presents bought to date have been wrapped and put away, cards are all written with the exception of Nan's, which I'm yet to buy. I've found a lovely little card shop near work, where they sell big, expensive looking cards for 99p so I really can't complain at that.
Trying to do a love in a box parcel with work, and despite everyone saying they'd help, no-one apart from me has put anything in. Yet I'm sure they'll all want to take some credit for it. I don't mind, but I just wish people wouldn't say yes when they mean no. Especially when it's for charity.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

Morning all!
Had a lovely lazy weekend. Went to local Farmers Market, then whizzed off to the shops to spend some vouchers I'd earnt through survey sites. Then my OH took pity on me because my knee has been playing up lately and went all through the house with a hoover. Love him!
Well today I'm feeling much better so am going to battle with the huge pile of ironing while watching Tv I think. Just got to pop in to see my mum first this morning for a quick coffee and natter. Need to have a polish and buff round the house as we have friends coming tonight - and not the kind that 'will take you as you are', their houses are spotless.
Watching with interest the advice on worming the kitties. Mine is an angel till she sees a pill, then she becomes a human shredder. She seems to have a knack of finding it no matter what we wrap it in.
