just had a quick coffee before I head out to Asda. love shopping at this time, only problem is dodging the man on the floor cleaning machine!
hoping there will be lots of bargains - miscalculated my budget slightly but not too bad. will stick to what we need ;) and I have a £4 voucher to use :)
need to buy sunday times. son and some friends were interviewed by one of their journalists on friday - but typical son forgot to ask when/if it will be published.

otherwise today will be spent doing some washing and more of my essay. I say more - I havent put pen to paper yet ;)

  • hi everyone. hope the footie match goes well dlb. glad you had a nice day pp. well tomorrow i start taking xenical! really glad doctor gave me it but apprehensive re possible side effects. i've got about 8 stone to lose so hope this will help me on my way. so my new healthy regime starts tomorrow. someone posted a link to a forum about xenical but i forgot to bookmark it so if they could post it again i'd be grateful. also if anyone has and tips / things to expect and want to pm me about them that would be excellent.

today i'm up really early - got woken by a strange noise from downstairs! not sure what we will be doing but we are having a roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings - lol my last supper!

might see if OH wants to go to local indoor market / car boot for a nosey.

    Goodmorning everyone,

Just catching up with some emails etc as I"m cooling off. Just finished mowing the yard. It's been pretty hot here today. Left the yard till about 5pm but still warm out there. XDIL & DGS came over for a lovely visit. They left at 4.30pm. XDIL gave us a lovely gift & card to say thankyou & she also cooked us a chicken pie for tea tonight. It's in the oven warming now. I was going to leave it for tomorrow's tea as we have a full day tomorrow picking up more supplies but it looked so good and I don't feel like cooking  I talked myself into having it tonight.

Jamie How did you make the cleanser? I'm intrigued. Does it work good?

    mineallmine Welcome to OS.

Well off to have a shower as I feel all dusty. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday and ((((((hugs))))) to those under the weather. Byeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Hi Aussielass,

i think its lovely and totally natural too:)

2inches of cucumber skinned and chopped up
    5 mint leaves chopped up
    50ml milk
    2 drops grapefruit seed extract

throw it all in the blender until smooth, put it in a saucepan and heat it up and simmer for 5. strain it through some muslin or kitchen paper when cool. add the grapefruit seed extract.
then put it into a bottle with a lid and keep in the fridge. will last a week

works for me and i have very sensitive skin:)

Morning all who have been and all who are yet to come.

    DH making breakfast - wow!

And he cleaned the bathroom without being asked on friday - I think he's been swapped for an alien. Or perhaps I'm getting through! (More likely he wants something!)

    For now though he's an :A .

Went to farm shop yesterday and got loads of stuff for not alot. Some beautiful mucky carrots.

Beef stroganoff from freezer for tea tonight.
Not sure about lunch. If I get out and get some pastry (no I'm not going to make it, sorry) it'll be one of the pasties I meant to make tomorrow. Trouble is we have to be in and out before 10:15 as the remembrance day parade is going passed the top of our road.

    Take care everyone.

    Morning everyone from box city!
That cleanser sounds lovely Jamie. Well more sorting to do pre move, going to go the tip with a few bits and pieces today. Feeling a little hung over, didnt drink much but I think red wine no longer agrees with me. Will take the doggies for a walk.
    Roast beef to do.
Got a bargain 8ft rug, hand crafted in India, with 100% New zealand wool, fairtrade brand new for a £10  , unbelievable!

Hope you all have a good day, big hugglies,

    Morning All

My life sounds pretty much the same as Snowy's at the moment, work and sleep and that's about it

We did have a family trip out last night though to a firework display - Mum, sis and BIL all came

Have to get petrol later, but thankfully have 5p off every litre:j . Sunday roast later too - chicken today

    Hope everyone's ok

Got a bit tipsey last night so wobbled off to bed around 11, only to be waken up at 4am by OH stumbling into bed after falling asleep on the sofa. He then slumped all over me and I had the cat the other side so had no room  eventually got up and slept in the spare room, cat followed me in there but she slept on my feet this time

Plans for today include ironing, cooking Sunday lunch and planning next weeks meals - nothing too exerting as I'm feeling a bit ropey :rotfl:

    B - Toast
L - Probably nothing as big dinner planned
D - Roast Chicken, Roast & Mashed Pots, Stuffing, Yorkies & Veg

Have a great Sunday everyone xx
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!
