Tefal are about to launch a silicone range in collaboration with a top chef - Jamie Oliver I think. If you have a look on their website it should give you some details.

Evening OSers!!
Well I've had a fairly successful day. Cleaned and tidied fridge, didn't find any surprises!! Then cleaned and tidied the freezer, and took an inventory.:oI think 6 packs of 4 chicken breasts are entirely normal! Plus two chicken joints, plus a huge pack of chicken thighs!! Have I got a chicken fixation? Bear in mind I only have a small freezer ( part of fridge/freezer) Unearthed several single portions of chilli, spag bol, and beef stew. But now that I have my inventory at least i can plan and perhaps buy a bit more sensibly.
I also tidied a couple of cupboards, including the one that houses all the fridge and freezer storage boxes and bags. I must have every size of freezer bag on the market!! Shouldn't need to buy any for ages.
Congrats Bargain Rzl on finally exchanging contracts!!! Now the fun can really begin. The joys of moving!:rotfl: :rotfl:
Glad to see you back Nicki, didn't realise it had been that long!!! But we'll let you off just this once:rotfl: :rotfl:
Kyle, had missed you but glad to hear you've been having such a good time with your DH. That hot chocolate sounds yummy. I love hot chocolate, but I'm trying to lose weight, so haven't had one for ages!!
Tired mum, we know you love your boy!! But he obviously has a lot of problems that are causing your family a lot of grief. It must be very wearing dealing with it day by day. Just be kind to yourself, you're the one stuck in the middle all the time.
Well best get off, have a little surf then start some ironing!! If i do it while watching TV it never seems such a bore.

Hello everyone,
thought I really should get back into posting more often! Its been really cold today - thank goodness for working in a place with good central heating! Think I'll be making another cuppa soon...
Not been up to anything really exciting. Working away as usual, and have come to the realisation I really need to sort out my christmas presents so must get going on that soon  Have a few things, and seen a few more that I like the look of, so think I'll be going shopping tomorrow after work. Been going a bit over budget but I think I can sort it all out in the end
Got a great deal in asda the other day: they must be having pricing problemsThey had 6 chocolate buns for 98p, but buy 2 packs for £1.50 - well, was charged full price at the till so complained, and got the 46p refunded plus £2 on a gift card 'for inconveniencing me' well they basically paid me 50p to take them. Such a hardship
Went back today but they had removed them from the shelves
Trying to make an avatar from a pic I have on my computer - not having much luck though  Could anyone point me in the right direction? Not having much luck with the search facility...
Welcome to nelly - it's a nice group of people on here, so no need to be scared!
*hugs* to all, take or leave as you please :j0 -
tired_mum wrote:evening all well today went a bit better for DS he managed not to have any trouble at all yesterday his sister was in tears as he insulted 1 of her friends family[he thought he was being funny ]then they stole his bag and threw it around later someone gave him a wraap to eat that they had rubbed on the floor and then started shouting and pointing at him he then blames everyone else for his problems or when he does something wrong he says it was only a joke or we were just messing about
there is only 13 months between him and DD1 but 2 years at school his bday is 5 sep i just dont know what to do with him he has always been a bit of a nightmare since he was born and has always had outlandish behaviour somtimes i feel for the girls and wish he wasnt here as there lives would be better and mine would be easier but i do love him desperatly but am just at my wits end with him thank you all for the kind words and support i just wanted to let everyone know he has had a better day and that his mum loves him really
I have 2 mad boys.. the oldest is only a little bit mad but the younger 2 are loopy I think.
I had both of them having a full on meltdown on the way home from school yesterday.. it isn't fun and you have my utmost sympathy! the older of the 2 has learning difficulties and the younger one has aspergers syndrome.
Life as a mum isn't always wonderful, but those good times do make it worth while, the few moments of clarity we get and the few sensible moments we learn to treasure more from our higher maintenance children.
I have learned to ignore the puzzled stares from passersby but the aggressive ones or the nasty comments I make a point of stopping and explaining to them why the boys behave as they do, that puts them totally in their place and usually they thank me for taking the time to explain the problems and hopefully makes them more understanding in the future.
big hugs though.. I hope tomorrow is easier!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Goodmorning everyone,
Beautiful sunny day in this neck of the woods.I can hear the rubbish man zipping around picking up the wheelie bins. DGS been taken to daycare by DD. He had a good night's sleep. I'm just about to get ready to take the lifter back. Plans for the day are washing, house clean & ironing. Then up to help DH. I'm painting the front door & the window trims.
CM Watch out for all those extra hormones that they have in chicken now. Might make you a bit on edge.
