    Afternoon everyone :)

Feeling a bit wierd, Oh is leaving his job. They want him to stay for one more week and then they are going to pay him out for a further 3 weeks. So we officially have 4 weeks until we have no money coming in :o . It's good news really because he has been so stressed and he admits that he feels so much better for it. Oh works in a very unstable job where we account for him being out of work for 2 months in the year and he has been in constant work all year so it shouldn't be too bad but I still feel a bit nervous 'specially as we hope to be in a sunnier place in 9 months time.

Penny Pincher, I think you should be called Penny Pincushion with the amount of jabs you have to have :D.

Bargain RZL that is fab news!

Tired Mum, sorry to hear about everything, I have a feeling in 7 or 8 years time my ds and dd will be like that.

Hugs to all once again :).

Edit : it's a pleasure snoozer :) seeing the volume of meat I have it is far better value than the supermarket plus it is organic and free range to boot. I might go for a veggie box too! I have also ordered my turkey/christmas meat hamper from there too.
  • Hiya.

Just popping in while the baby is sleeping.

Congrats BRZL and ageandjo for sorting out the moving. Don't envy you. I hate packing after several years as a student. When we bought this house i vowed to myself i'd never move again, although looking at the amount of stuff acquired because of baby, i may rethink that one in a few years. ;)

welcome nelly, and welcome back to nicki. That baby was really cute, and put a big smile on my face. What a cheerful chap. Hope charlie is like that.

A big congratulations to joannasmum and family. What fantastic news. I'm really pleased for you.

thank you PP for posting piccies of your iced finger buns. I loved these as a kid, and hadn't thought about doing them in the BM. Thanks for the inspiration. May also make some scones, as these would be good to grab when the baby is really grizzly.

not really getting much OS done. We haven't resorted to takeaway yet, although i have run out of clothes today so having a jama day. :D Oh well. Good excuse to veg out in front of the telly. I'm managing some bits though.

I want to try and get the BM on today as it will be easier than going to the shop. I also have some bananas to use up, so i might make the banana and walnut bead again. It was delicious last time, but unfortunately went off when i was in hospital and DH forgot it was there. The house is messy but not dirty. It's hard work when every day almost something new has been sent to us, and i haven't had chance to find a home for it. I'd best attempt to do that at the weekend while DH is here to babysit. I need to be better at leaving baby asleep in one room while i work in another, but with the cold weather the cats have been in, and i just daren't risk it.

Hugs to all, i think i may be needed for a nappy change. My sisters were both in shock yesterday by how loud charlie trumps. No wonder his daddy is proud of him. Boys eh.

    See you soon,
    Michelle xx

    Good afternoon everyone,

Bargain Rzl - so glad they have finally exchanged and you finally have a date to move!!!!

ageandjo - pleased for you too, you must be really looking forward to getting away from your neighbours!!!!

nicki - was wondering where you were the other day, glad all is ok

Well, ive cleaned the kitchen today, but thats all!!!! Whilst little one was a t nursery, i caught up with some episodes of spooks that was on my sky +, ive just cancelled our subscription (rang hoping they would offer half price again, but they didnt) cos i really cant afford the £43.50 its costing now (no point in reducing package, its the movies and sport we want) so i need to watch everything ive got stored before it all goes. Was going to watch some more tonight, but a friend called to say she will come round tonight with a bottle of wine for a chat (shes just come back from 2 weeks in Australia) so that will be nice.
Right, better go and pick my 2 up from school, they have German classes after school on a Thursday, so we havnt had to race up there for 3!!!) hope everyone hasd a great evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Tea tonight will be chicken enchiladas, followed by a night of sewing Brownie badges on, and labels in uniform - hope there's something good on the box to watch ;)

    Hi all!

"Shopping Day" today (ugh!) so went to Tesco with my list - got everything on it except tissues, which I somehow managed not to pick up!

Chicken curry tonight with leftover chicken from yesterday.

I've lent the SC to DD2 for a few weeks to see if she thinks she'd really use one if she had one - I think that'll be a "Yes!"

Rzl - so glad to hear the good news! YAYYYYYYYYY!:j  :j

Nelly - nice to see you over here! I'm not brave enough to post over in the Arms but your posts always make me laugh. You'll like it over here too!
nicki - welcome back, good to know you're okay. Sounds as if you've been horrendously busy!

gingin - ((((HUGS)))) to you and DH. Things will work out all right, you'll see.

Aussielass - glad to hear you only got the rain and not the golfball-sized hailstones!

Elona - your friend would be so touched at how hard you've been working on his behalf.

Penny-Pincher - thinking of you, hope you get on okay with your essay.

Sorry, although I have read the thread I can't remember what everyone said so send HUGS to everyone in need of one.

    Best wishes

evening all well today went a bit better for DS he managed not to have any trouble at all yesterday his sister was in tears as he insulted 1 of her friends family[he thought he was being funny ]then they stole his bag and threw it around later someone gave him a wraap to eat that they had rubbed on the floor and then started shouting and pointing at him he then blames everyone else for his problems or when he does something wrong he says it was only a joke or we were just messing about
there is only 13 months between him and DD1 but 2 years at school his bday is 5 sep i just dont know what to do with him he has always been a bit of a nightmare since he was born and has always had outlandish behaviour somtimes i feel for the girls and wish he wasnt here as there lives would be better and mine would be easier but i do love him desperatly but am just at my wits end with him thank you all for the kind words and support i just wanted to let everyone know he has had a better day and that his mum loves him really
