Just about to hang out the towels to dry.
Had breakfast and may make a pizza tonight.
Welcome nelly - don't drink the white vinegar - or the Stardrops lol!;)
Had a phone call from the crematorium - asking me if I knew about DH's friend's funeral arrangements as it is almost unprecedented for things to take this long! Thanks to all the frantic phoning around I have been doing for weeks I was able to refer them to the undertaker.
Still feel so helpless and wish we could carry out his wishes but the absence of instructions or a will leave us with our hands tied! I will be glad to see the end of 2006 - three deaths , three illnesses and two operations in one year are quite enough for any family.
Hugs to everyone."This site is addictive!"

Afternoon everyone
Not been on here for a couple of days, been in bed ill with s&d - not very nice at all.
Ive managed to get up and potter around, but nothing to energetic, just hope Im feeling fit for going to see Disney on Ice in Sheffield later 2day, an early birthday treat for DD. Not sure my DS age 10 will be thrilled though lol
Will try and catch up with the goss Ive missed over the the last 2days, may take me a while, but feel free to update me of any announcements made.
DLB - let me no how that KFC recipe works pls. Sounds good, but my stomach not digesting it at present.
Still without a washer, waiting for bloke to come and fix it, should have been here between 08.30-1pm, I no its only 12.15, but dont you find it annoying that they leave you till the last minute. Not been in the shower yet - as its always my luck, I get in the shower and they turn up.
OH grandad's out of hospital now, after his heart attack on Sat. Think the nurses got get fed up of his "wind ups", I love the "old uns" - even in his 80's he can give out some excellent 1 liner's.
Nice to be back, will catch up with you all later

Ello all :hello: Long time no (proper) see
I've just realised I haven't posted on the daily thread since 3rd October  I've been a bit side tracked you see by Christmas related things. :snow_grin
Anyways, what have I been upto since then  I've- majorly decluttered my kitchen (including unplanned decluttering of quite a few mugs, dishes etc that have been broken after we'd taken all the "spare" stuff to the charity shop  ),
- painted the bathroom,
- had no toilet for a week (wouldn't flush) which was then fixed by the landladys husband who didn't empty the cystern before taking it off and as a result we had dirty water dripping through our livingroom ceiling onto the fridgefreezer/laminate floor/lights , had a plumer in to fix the landlady husbands boo boos (airlock in the cold water system which led to one in the hot water so we had no running water in the bathroom for a day  ),
- painted DD's room (touched up),
- overhauled the garden,
- overhauled our bedroom,
- 3 trips to the tip with the rubbish - we own a Ford Ka and OH had to put the back seat down and move the passenger seat as far forward as possible on 2 trips!
- decluttered 4 bin bags and 3 crisp boxes of stuff to the Red Cross shop
- spent way too much money on food (dare I say, prepacked chicken kievs, breaded fish, chips and pizzas for the freezer:o )
- Took DD to Camelot (bought tickets on Lastminute.com - 3 tickets for £33, spent some money on a keyring and a flashing butterfly necklace for her as a treat and £1 charity donation otherwise no cost
EVEN got my IL's who we went with saving money by finding them discount vouchers as well :money: )
- Took DD to Blackpool to see the lights (Spent £6 on parking, 95p on a portion of chips and the only other cost was the packed lunches we took :j )
- Took DD to a FREE fireworks display put on by the council. Managed to get right to the front this year :j
- Had all 3 of us one after another ill with a tummy bug.
- Started Christmas shopping (£5 per person, except brother - £10 because he's not 18 yet, £30 each for OH and myself as we have stocking as well so it works out at £10 from me/him to the other with £10 from DD and £10 for the stockings, and DD is either going to be £50 or depending on what I make on ebay I might up it to £100 giving her money so she can go to the toy sale AFTER christmas
After all she's an only child and doesn't really get spoilt that much by us.)
- Saved a fortune already on the Christmas shopping - :money:
OS today : None so farWM has just finished its 2nd load so will go and put that on airers in the bedrooms where the heaters are on to put some moisture back in the air (our bedrooms are really dry with having to have the heating on to try and prevent the bathroom from turning black  ) and that will allow me to put the bedding (next load) out on the washing line.
Can someone please give me a major boot up the bottom? I need some motivation to go back to OS as I've gotten lazyPlus right now I'd like to just curl up and go to sleep.....
