Tired Mum - Hugs to you - have no kids of myown, so cannot offer advice, just to keep your ground and keep enforcing the standards.
Chipps - Congrats on becoming GA! Hope the tooth gets better...... !
WM on, but now at work, so will have to use TD when I get in. Lack of planning means that my yoga togs not washed and ready for me for tomorrow. Doh!
More chutney making tomorrow and a couple of christmas cakes for friends. Found a small chest freezer for not a lot, so looking forward to having more space to buy cheap and freeze as well as cook and freeze.

Morning everyone
I'm sorry for all th people who are having bad nights and I am normally one of those but I have to say I am sleeping so well at the moment.
Ds has heard it is world record day today, he has decided to break a world record. First was eating toast, which after 2 pieces he decided was enough, he now believes he has broken the world record for bouncing with 100 bounces on the chair. I have suggested he breaks the record for the quickest room tidy, will see if that one works after school!
Oh is having a meeting with his boss to day to see if the will sack him or let him go, sad it has got to this but I have never seen him so stressed and he is working 70 hours a week a the mo. I have a feeling they won't but I will wait and see. I have a feeling they will see pound signs and try and persuade him to stay. He stayed overnight in London last night so I am looking forwards to seeing him this evening.
I am making something with pheasant today, also got a nice savoy cabbage going to scour the recipes soon and to turn my gammon hock into stock as well. Did loads of washing yesterday but needs to be folded and ironed. Everywhere needs hoovering.
Have a good day everyone. Hugs to those that need them.0 -

tired_mum wrote:morning all not read thread yet will read later when i get back from the school run
yesterday i did loads of cleaning and i used the cross trainer twice 10 min each time so was quite pleased
picked kids up and DS was shouting and arguing with his sister on the corner of the street when i pulled up i am really at the end of my tether with his behaviour and finding him hard to cope with he is so lazy and since going to the seniors he has made his sisters life very hard for her wont leave her friends alone is insulting to them and generaly obnoxious we were warned he was like this in junior school towards her but hoped it was an age thing obviously not! yesterday he was acting the fool again and trying to look big by doing stupid things but just being offensive and playing the fool i am really fed up with it i know he has ADHD but that is no excuse for his behaviour
sometimes i wish he wasnt here and life would be so much easier for everyone including both his sisters i know i am not supposed to feel like this but i just cant cope with him and am fed up with calls from the school he has had 3 fights in 3 months and so on
sorry for the rant
hugs to all who need them and hope everyone has a agood day
Poor old you tired mum. Take it from someone who has been there you will get through this.
I do still sometimes think we would all be better off with out DS but I think that it is habit. My DS is now 20 so I cannot promise that you feel better soon but it really will get better as he gets older.

Morning everyone. Hope you are all well. Hugs to those need them.
DD will be at school this morning. DS and I will be at home. I need to hoover and dust house all through, I think. Got to post last Ebay parcel - have sorted out a load more things to put on but am waiting until the weekend to do that. I might list the things on netmums.com first though.
Washing machine having a rest today!
Will take kids swimming after lunch as we haven't been yet this week and they keep asking to go.
Not sure what dinner will be - something from the store cupboard I think, maybe spicy lentil layer.
Catch you all later.0 -

Been there :grouphug: DS is 14 months older than DD, so a year between them at school. We didn't have problems til they were both at senior school, when DS's sole aim in life was to let DD know that he is older and therefore better than her  The only thing I could do was to keep them apart as much as possible. If I grounded him, I hated it because it was a lot easier when he wasn't in the house. There were times when I wished he wasn't here too, you're not aloneBulletproof0 -
