Have a lovely OS day everyone!Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -
Nipped home for the night again. Can't stand being away all week on a course. After 6 weeks the novelty has worn off! Only 2 days to go, then back to the real world.... Having to work for my money.
It looks to be cold and frosty again this morning. That means the sun in my eyes all the way up the A38.
Looking forward to a night out tonight in Exeter. The course final meal and drinking thing. If you see a bunch of loud and noisy adults in Exeter tonight it could be us. Looks like any money saving will be suspended for the time.
Have a nice day y'allNO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -

Morning All,
lovely day here - and today I'll have a bit more time to myself.
I've managed to clean nearly all the curtains in the house and I even saved myself from buying a new pair by looking into a local charity shop and getting perfect ones for my office for £6.50! Exactly what I was looking for, size, colour everything. I've also lined all the walls behind the radiators with cardboard covered with foil - only cost the price of the foil and I'm sure it'll be worthwhile.
We're being very serious about energy efficiency this year, partly for the environment, but mostly because of the rising costs of energy, and the preference for the money to stay in our pot!
Still got to decide what to eat tonight, but breads cooked, soups made so lunch is sorted. Freezer seems never ending and no matter what we use there always seems more in there (maybe it's because I keep chucking things in!)
ageandjo - try putting any soggy pork crackling, (sprinkled with salt) under a hot grill for a few minutes, it crisps beautifully.
Have a lovely day all you OS'ers0
