    Hiya everyone

    Hello Nelly :)

((hugs)) to all those in need, including myself :) Caught DS1's tummy bug last night and was really ill. Bless them, the boys put themselves to bed too, cos Mr TM didn't get back from Turkey till midnight. Anyway, feeling a lot better this morning - just "delicate". Managed some toast, so that's something.

I had already cancelled my plans to take mum Xmas shopping today cos I was meant to be having my new oven and hob put in, but the plumber has just called to say he'll be here at 9am tomorrow! Ah well, I have a day to get on with lots of other things/rest on the settee .... whichever is most appealing at the time :D

So, cos my leccy won't be going off today, I can now put the BM on. Think I'll make a lovely steak and veg casserole for tea too - with jacket spuds and cauliflower cheese (yes, I like cauli cheese on the same plate as gravy) Loads of washing to do, but Mr TM hasn't unpacked his case yet, so will do towels first.

I think I'll also make a start on wrapping my xmas pressies. I have most of them bought, so might as well make a start, eh? LOL

    Have a good day everyone

Morning all and welcome Nelly - it's nice here.....

An early start this morning as it's DH's birthday so got jumped on by DD's with presents. I made 60 muffins, a choccy fudge cake and 24 cookies yesterday for him to take to work today - he phoned about half and hour ago to say they'd nearly all gone!!! Glad they liked them.

Feeling quite chilly here today - the winds quite strong which doesn't help, but being very good with the heating (now that we have some) and only having it on for an hour in the morning, it's ok for now.

Only one little one here this afternoon, only 2 weeks until I finish childminding, will miss them all but time to move on.

Made a lovely soup last night, the leftovers from sundays beef casarole, blitzed up with a bit of red wine, curry powder and a hand full of broken up spaghetti, a sort of mullagatawnie (sp?) I suppose.....Was yummy. Tonight will be lasagne at DH's request but just waiting for Mr T's to deliver my shopping before I can get started.

I've already hoovered through, steam cleaned kitchen and bathroom floors and changed DD's beds, washings just finished and will be going in TD (no room for airers with the builders still here). Just about to go and start the ironing - where does it all come from?

    Hugs to all in need.

Hi Nelly! Your posts make me laugh so much, it's good to see you here but you need a bottle of white vinegar as your entry ticket.

Haven't been online for a couple of days, have been trying to wean myself off MSE a bit and get on with life  Have defrosted my freezer ready for the Christmas cooking though and got the house cleaned through. Just got back from the cat's annual visit to the vet for her flu jabs, nightmare journey, huge traffic jams each way with a frightened cat mewing piteously in the catbox next to me. Got to the vet and the stupid box handle fell off :o

Going to make some ice cream and an apple strudel for a dinner I'm having for friends next week now, to put in my sparkly clean freezer. Then I have an appointment with the dentist later :( to replace a filling which fell out some week ago. Not looking forward to that much.

    Have a great day everyone!

    Breakfast:Crumpets and fruit
    Lunch: baked potato with salad
    Dinner: Stir fried tuna

    Morning

Congrats to those with good news and hugs for all!

I've got an absolutely mad day planned! We're off on an adventure this weekend (hardly - going back to Taunton for Xmas shopping, but whilst we were there thought we'd do the rounds and go to Glastonbury, Street, Bristol and see friends etc  ), so am getting ready for that. General tidying, packing, and figuring out some sort of schedule for the weekend is the order of the day. Also need to wrap some presents, do some Ebay listings, send off some job applications and I *must must must* order the Christmas presents I want from Uncommon Goods, else they won't be here in time!

So I hope you all have a nice day! _party_

When you and ajeanjo pack, make sure you put a box togther with a kettle, mugs, coffee (or tea!) etc in and can put your hand on it as soon as you walk in! Best bit of labelling I ever did!!!!!!!!

    Good luck with the moves!
