Not sure what dinner will be - something from the store cupboard I think, maybe spicy lentil layer.

    Got the recipe? Sounds nice.

Been a busy bee this morning. Mended some of the dog cushions (puppy Pug loves to rip them!) and also washed them too. Have cleaned and hoovered upstairs, cleaned out the dustbin after the collection and am just waiting for an egg to boil so that I can have egg and cheese salad for lunch.

Happy bunny this morning because I logged on to my bank account and theres an extra £106 in there from the Child Tax Credit people. I hadn't realised but my payments stopped in September because my younger daughter left school. However, I rang them on Monday to tell them that my hubbies wages had gone up slightly (they weren't interested though because you need to be earning over £75,000 for it to make any difference apparently) but during the conversation I mentioned that my daughter was at full time college. This is why my payments should have carried on! :) So they have credited me with what they owe from September. A nice bonus with Christmas coming up.

Poor you, Tired Mum. Theres no easy answer for this sort of thing. I hope it gets better for you.

Glad its nearly the weekend and also its sunny which always makes you feel better!

Have a good day everyone!

    Here you go, Nelly:

mrbadexample's very own index and jolly good it is too!

I have no idea whether or not you cook, but I'd love to know how you get on with some of the stuff in there!
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.
  • Afternoon Guys!

Been to the hospital and am now back in for the rest of the day:D

The WM is on its 2nd load and the 1st is hanging on the line, still another to do after this one has finished. SIL is still here cleaning and odd jobbing:cool: DW has been emptied and OH has mowed the lawn as he didnt get it done the other day. OH also got the glass chandaliers (sp) down and washed them out as they hadnt been done inside for a few weeks-but werent actually too bad.

I have put 18 items on Ebay and they are already up to £12;) Freecycled 2 big blue gas bottles which have been collected and also have a wardrobe and ottaman (sp) that someone is picking up later today.....I love freecycle. Got rid of our old DW the other day...saved paying someone to dispose of it:T

Dont really feel like studying, so am going to have a sleep in a minute as Im not feeling too great. The injection wasnt too pleasant and had to go deep into my muscle on my bum cheek:eek:    ...and it flippin hurt:o

    Hi everyone!
Apologies- will go back and read the thread properly in a min but hugs to all who need them.
I decided that today I would spend my lunchtime on some of the other boards...I lasted precisely 12 minutes and now I'm back here where it feels comfy and familiar!!
OS tasks completed today are a white wash done and house hoovered throughout. Will do the weekly shopping list and menu before my friend arrives. Then regrettably all oldstyling will come to an abrupt halt as I give my jaw muscles a rigorous workout:D The two of us do tend to have a jolly old gossip/putting the world to rights session when we get together. I can see OH will suddenly find something terribly important that needs his attention in the shed when she arrives!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I hope to get some baking done at some point over the weekend but OH is up in London both days so most of my time will be spent taking small person to a couple of activities.
    Have a most marvellous day!!

Hiya all, dh been off for last 2 days so not had much chance to get on, went tp to cairngorms mountain yesterday but found out the funnicular railway was closed for annual maintenance! anyway its closed for a month and during that time they hold a xmas market, lovely handmade stuff, got a snowglobe showing the railway, got a nailbrush, scottish rhyme book for the kids, christmas tree light, reindeer decorations for the tree.

Also got a free mince pie and mulled wine! you have to spend over 25 for this though

Also went into the cas bar and dh bought me a hot choc drink topped with cream and choclate, mmm! it was a freezing day! LOL

BM to go on later and still to decide whats for tea, maybe macaroni.

Lo has a cold at the mo so not sleeping well, was up every hour last night!

    Hi everyone,

Congrats Joanna's mum and BRzl. Also Welcome to Nelly.

Didn't get chance to post yesterday, had a manic day at work - trouble at t'cemetery!!

Cleared out my shoes last night and have about 8 pairs to donate to the Blue Peter appeal (although a couple of pairs are almost brand new so might go to a Charity shop  instead rather than for recycling).

DS rang to say he was coming home for a few days so spent last night and this morning menu planning and writing a shopping list. In fact DD is coming home for the weekend as well so we'll all be together as a family, :j I can't wait.

Gingin passed on the link for her organic meat company to me :T so I'm going to do an order from that and I've ordered an organic veg box for the first time as well - DH thinks it'll be a waste of money so I must try to prove him wrong. DD is all in favour.

Tonight I must make DS' bed up and cook a cottage pie, which he loves for tomorrow night. I will also make some mocha squares and brownies for him because we have no other treats in the house DH and I both trying to lose weight.
