Afternoon/evening everyone :hello::beer: Welcome nelly :beer:Brilliant news Bargain Rzl :j :j :jAnd congratulations to Jonanasmum! :j :j :jI'm exhausted, but it feels like I'm about to collapse! I hardly got any sleep last night because I was worrying about work. :( I nearly didn't come in, but then I thought that I'd better do as I've got plenty of work on. However, if I feel like it tomorrow then I will spend the day at home. I had never appreciated how bullying in a workplace can actually make you feel. The most I've ever had before has been banter!!! I've hopefully got the bloke from my union 'phoning me back. DH has spoken to two primary heads from outside the county and relayed the whole situation to them, and they're appalled at how I'm being treated. :(On a positive note, I'm going out for a meal tonight with a friend and another of her friends that I've only met once. It'll be nice to have a girly chat and not have to think about teaching! This friend is bringing me an application form for a job where she works, so we will see how that pans out.DH will be at home, relaxing away. I hope that he'll also tackle the ironing mountain to rival the Himalayan mountain range :D.Better go for now. I'm still in work and the cleaner has suggested that I start to sort my CV out!!! Bless her...Vicky

After 5 weeks of not smoking - I'm starting to feel a bit more *normal* and I can envisage a life of being a non smoker :T :j :T
Way to Go SOMO1 - thats a fantastic achievement - you should be very proud of yourself. I work with a girl who is now on week 12 - noone ever thought that she would make it through, she smoked roll-ups and half the pleasure for her was actually making them - so she suffered from twitchy fingers for a long long time.

I am in awe of anyone who can give up. :T:T:T

    I've had an 'interesting' day.

The baby wouldn't go to bed so I got nothing practical done, entertaining her is a full time job. I have almost caught up with the washing.. 2 more loads and I will have time and space to change bedsheets tomorrow!

I had a 'nice' chat with the student loans company and told them basically they are stupid.. which judging by the service we had seen from them they are!! Not to mention rude and totally incompetant.. anyway.. we are not in arrears, nor have we missed a payment and they don't like having to deal with me and not my hubby.. ha!!

I have retallied up all my debts and have actually paid off a whole £500 this month.. not bad but by comparison to what we owe.. this is going to take a LONG time!!

    I will try harder tomorrow!!

    Evening All

    Congrats Bargain Rzl :T :T :T

Just a flying visit, been trying to get on all thoughout the day but Aol kept crashing.

Finished a mamoth filing job for my business and am soooo happy only took 2 hours! Some more to do tomorrow but it isnt as bad.

Need to put another wash on then will pop in bath - legs are slightly aching from exercise class last night (still enjoyed it) and am going riding in the morning so hopefully wont be too stiff tomorrow.

Hello Nelly and James - Nelly I havnt read the whole thread yet but hope you made it to work. James I will look on your other thread but I normally cook them in the oven for approx 1 hour. Sometimes zap them for about 5 mins in the microwave and bung them in to crisp up for about 20 mins.

Oh just rememberd my silicone bakeware arrived today so will and go have a look at that. Have a great evening.

Of course I cook how dare you?

I'll prove it heres my fave recipe -

Ingredients - 1 phone 1 Dominos pizza menu.

Take the phone in one hand and gently dial number on gas mark 4 wait untill answered.

Now add in your own speciall blend of pizzas and garlic bread from the list.

Say this around fourteen times untill the iliterate on the other end of the phone has come to the boil, remove phone from ear and simmer untill thay get bored of waiting add a bar-b q dip as required.

Now watch star trek untill knock on the door serve with beer and more star trek :)

I ended up getting it from QVC online - I looked at loads of other websites but they were quite pricey and were all individual items whereas the sets on QVC were all that I will use iykwim. I know there was a thread about cheap sets in Aldi and £ shops somewhere on MSE a little while ago and a lot of people said the aldi ones were a bit flimsy and we dont have a £ shop here.
