    Afternoon

Thanks for all your good wishes. To say I am bricking it would be an understatement but Aunty Nelski assures me everything is going tickety boo :D

So, funnily enough, OS has taken a bit of a back seat this week. Managed to empty the bins and put the DW on today - then I've been to have me barnet cropped. Am just sorting out the last bits .... Nelski is sorting a powerpoint thingy out for me and we are going over to the room I've booked in a little while to see what we can use/need to "dress it"

Ok - ((hugs)) to all and I'll try and catch up with you all over the next week or so .... unless I get sooo many new clients I'm completely run off my feet :D

    See ya

  • I see you all seem to be using your breadmakers, well I have one in my cupboard that I have not used in 3 years!

Is it cheaper to make your own bread?

    morning everyone!!

OH loved his birthday pressie, will watch the Bladerunner DVD later. he doesn't know about dinner yet... waiting for him to do his usual "wots fer dinner then?" question. atm i think he's a bit down - there were no cards in the post for him, it seems like his family and mine have forgotten. I'm about to fire off a reminder email to my mom, but i'm not sure about his - with his family being in the netherlands it may just be in transit.

anyway hopefully something will arrive later/tomorrow.... gonna scoot and do the xmas cake - or at least, put the fruits in to soak in brandy - after breakfast.

    laters folks!

    Yes!

The downside (for me, anyway) is that I have to remember to make more before I run out altogether.
Which reminds me: I've just got one slice left, so got to make some bread asap.
(It's always a good idea to have a "back-up" loaf in the freezer - but I have used that... and the rolls which were a back up for the back up IYSWIM!)
  • aftenoon peoples!!! *waves n gives out hugs* hope you;'re all behaving yourselves!!!
today, ds n me have been to playgroup n picked up some more xmas pressies that i ordered frm playgroups catalogue... got home just after 11 and washed up, done 1load of washing n got it on line/rads and the 2nd load has now stopped so thats next job to sort that out.
ds has now figured out how to open all the stair gates now:eek:  so nothing is safe anymore:mad:. ive cleaned the kitchen and fed us (chicken soup n hm bread)tea is pizza n chips 4 dd, ds n me n pasta n mince n onion 4 dh. so hopefully by bed time i'll have emptied the ashpan on the fire, mopped the laminate in the front room, cleaned the bathroom, taken/ picked up dd from brownies, wrapped up xmas pressies, and finally dyed my roots.. (between u n me im looking like a duracell battery... ):j

ive read ppls posts and ive never been able to see avatars... but can see smilies ... have i broken something???? or am i just underpriviledged?:(

    Hi everyone!
Just a quick one from me today as I'm due back at work in a min!
Am hoping that there'll be a parcel from Mr T when I get home. I finally worked out what to get my MIL for Chimbo. She suffers from early stage dementia, has diabetes and is crippled. I ordered her an audio book {Agatha Christie] as my inlaws really do have everything materially wise!
On the OS front I've cleaned the floors and done a general tidy up. Huge everest type pile of ironing awaits me this evening. Should have done it Mon but used the cat coming back from the vet and needing to settle her in as my excuse! Was hoping that the ironing fairy might have paid me a visit in the meantime but unfortunately she appears to have missed me out of her rounds this week!!
Have a great day everyone. OH is making HM burgers for tea tonight and I think we'll finish the last 2 slices of HM caramel ginger pud I made. Cold weather...must need the extra calories so don't put the heating on!!

  • I've been sorting out my bedroom today.

    2 black bags full

    one recycling bag full.

One very large carrier bag for the charity shop.

Must clear out more often, I think!
