arghhhhh my car was frozen this morning what is the world coming to lol..

just taken down the decorations from halloween, i decorate the windows and the garden to make it welcoming for all our little guests lol.. and to see some of the expressions and some of the comments from the local kids was well worth it..

i even had some poison apples in the garden, they were actually apples that you use for decorations but i shoved them in the garden and all the kids said are they poison apples and i said yes hee hee ..

were i lived before i was lucky if i got 2 visitors at halloween last night i got hundereds well mabey not quite but there were loads. up and down all night but it was fun, even gave out some fruit to the kids disgust but the parents delight lol.. daughter loved the fact she could go out with her friends up and down the street and not be out of our sight. couldnt do that before..

anyway im off now as im going into town to do some shopping oh what fun i hear you all say.. needs must

Long day for me today as I'm on the 11am till 10pm shift! then have got to drive and pick up DS1 on way home so wont get in till about 11 pm:eek:

Have just had words with DS2 he's been called every 10 mins since 8am and he's still not gone to school. update he's just left now:mad: good job its only a few mins walk to school so he should make it before the end of registration.

Wont get anything done today due to long hours at work.Just off to make some sarnies to take.

good morning everyone, have taken DD3 to school all the rest are at work so home alone. Yipee.

2nd load in WM, thinking of putting some out to see if it dries. It is sunny but cold. SC on for soup/stew tonight.

Have large pile of ironing calling to me and the upstairs to do. I also have some stuff to put on Ebay so need to do some photos. Still have peeps not paid for the last lot of stuff I put on there and someone from Australia that bid on a 50p book - won and now does not know how to pay. Any ideas anyone. I did say only UK but no one seems to take any notice. Also I put no Paypal and I have had several mails after the auction to ask if I will take Paypal. What is a girl to do?

Morning all, feeling a bit more chipper today . Hugs to all, Penny Pincher glad to hear you are feeling more positive today.

Good start to the morning, signed up to Quidco not that long ago and my account balance was £20 which was a pleasant surprise and I withdrew £7 from my Ciao account for surveys done means that I have started the morning £27 up! Not planning on spending anything today so woohoo!

Forgot Dh was away tonight so threw meal planning out the window and told ds he could choose dinner which so he chose Toad in the Hole with mash and gravy, feel like a bit of comfort food so very happy with that .

I still have more ebay parcels to post, managed 12 yesterday and have another 12 to do today. I have prebought the stamps hence my no spend day.

Good luck to TM with your business. I hope to start up an educational children's supplies company in Oz and my Chrissie pressie from Oh is to register my domain name, so very exciting!

Well here in the frugalpie house it's not a good day. I'm made up with flu and feeling terrible.:(

I'm a bit of a wimp really but added to the flu I have the most terrible pains in my chest...off to see doc this pm.

Goodmorning everybody,

This site is working really slow for me tonight. I have another dose of the flu on me again. Not as bad this time but it's such a pain in the neck. I think I caught it from DGS this time. DH went into town this morning and got more medicinal supplies in. :rolleyes: DGS is much better except for his cough. Doesn't cough much but it is still phellmy. XDIL didn't come today after all and is just signing the lease before she moves in on Friday.

I was going to help her move but have decided not to. I will make her a sausage casserole & chicken stew instead so she will have a few meals up her sleeve. I will take them over on Saturday when I deliver DGS & give her a hand then. DSis will be with me so many hands make light work. Woke up last night around 1am & then started bawling my eyes out . I am going to miss him terribly even though at times I could have throttled him.

Tonight while I gave him his bath I give him his toothbrush and brush his teeth for him & then give him another bit so he can do it himself. It's our little agreement. I heard a car pull up so glanced out the front door & when I looked back to DGS he was *brushing* his wee wee with his toothbrush. :rotfl:I absolutly cracked up laughing. I shall tell him that one when he's older.

Well what a crisp morning eh? DS was bit disgruntled that old banger had to run for a few minutes to defrost the windows - eurgh, I really don't like this time of year, hate the whole getting up in the dark, coming home in the dark routine

Had an awful night with DS last night, only 2 days into new term and all his old stresses are back and it's hard building new habits - but onwards and upwards, got to get my boy happy again.

W**k all day, bleurgh. Only thing I am buying today is I NEED a little notebook to go in my handbag so i can record what I'm spending, the old one fell to bits, so am gonna haunt the poundshops til i find one

Found soem shoes last night that I think may make a couple of quid on ebay so gonna stick them on tonight, desperately need a few quid for Christmas

Right, very cold night, the heat kicked in, I was awake at 3am, made tea and read for an hour or so..........

Showered and washed my hair, need to have a go at the floor in the sitting room this morning, we have had a problem with woodlice coming in, found some on the bedroom curtains the other day. It appears they are getting in through at the side of the replacement window in the sitting room, the corner brick has not been cemented in properly........ I need to hoover up the dead bodies and try and stuff the hole up somehow.

Its quite bright, have not been out, but am hoping to get a wash load done tonight and dry tomorrow, its sheet week this week..........

OH is sweeping up the leaves from the hawthorn tree in our front garden.

No trick or treaters last night, not that we would have opened the door, we do not have a chain on the door and unless people ring when they are at the door we do not open it after dark. I wish they would bring out a chain for UPVC doors........ I would get one fitted.

Plans for today, not much really once Ihave cleaned up.... sausage casserole for supper, managed to burn a pan of beans yesterday, the stink was horrendous........had to burn a candle to get rid of it.

We have the CM detector, got it from Mr T. I need someone who smokes to test it, or I will have to buy some joss sticks, apparently ciggies and joss stick emit CM when they burn, candles do not...........

Hiya hows everone today:T

Up since 5.30 with lo, been feeling very tired, only had 2 trick/treaters round last night, weather was quite bad though!

Anyone got any snow, we havent! but heard on news a road going to aberdeen is covered in snow, fatal accident on road caused by this, a great shame didnt say on the weather about snow though, we are getting hailstones though now and again.

Off to put bm on and will have pizza for tea tonight, will have to search for recipe as i seem to have lost my panny bm manual!
