  • Morning Guys!

Yesterday was a difficult day-hopefully today will be easier:D I basically came back from the hospital and slept as they had given me an injection of morphine as I was in that much pain:eek: ...this cold weather really doesnt help at all......never mind!

Whilst I was out of it yesterday, OH was very busy. He went to Tesco and looked for bargains which he found;) We have also been looking for a new quilt and having a SuperKing bed, doesnt make it cheap. He popped to TKMaxx and bought a Goose Down 13.5tog for £49.99 instead of £270:eek:   ....as Im in bed...alot..I need comfort...and luxury:D I had seen one in John Lewis for £240 and was waiting for Xmas;)

WM will be put on in a minute, DW too and toilet has been cleaned.

OH also did the 2nd hand shop yesterday and made £91.50. This doesnt tally up really as last year they made £236 and he took £92.50 in one session:confused: and he didnt sell too much either. He also got DD 4 new blouses (normally £14 each), V Neck Jumper (Normally £16), PE Shorts (normally £11), PE shirt (normally £11). The lady who runs it said as OH had bought a bag of stuff in that he could have the bits for free-but still donated £5:o

Today Im not doing much at all. OH is posting some parcels/letters, then we are going to try and sort DD's bedroom as we bought some new underbed storage things and need to help her organise better.

Hopefully going to make some sticky willys today as OH got a baking tray yesterday.

    Breakfast: Toast & Jam
Lunch: Bubble & Squeak (leftovers from Monday)
Dinner: Lamb Pie, New Pots, Carrots and cabbage

Queenie-Well done on your achievements so far. You are an inpsiration and hope this year is even better than the last one:T

    Hugs to all.

    PP

    Good morning everyone,

ageandjo - hope DH is feeling better soon, will be keeping my fingers crossed for the move for you xx

Chipps - ohhh, hope your mouth is ok today, and fingers crossed for your niece too!!!

Bargain Rzl - still have my fingers crossed for you!!!! Hope the solicitors get their fingers out soon!!!!!!

PP - hope things went ok at the hospital yesterday, and you feel better today.

(((HUGS))) to all those poorly, at work or who just generally need one!!!

Plans for today - ring Cookworks to see if they will replace my SC lid (not holding out much hope, but worth a try) and thats about it!!!!! I was going to take the little ones (2 today) out for an Autumn walk but its been raining, and doesnt look like its getting any better, so will have to think of something constructive we can do inside instead.
Still using up things from the freezer and cupboard, so will go and have a poke around in a minute to see what inspiration hits me for dinner tonight!!!!

Cant remember who was also looking yesterday, but our Lidls didnt have any of the ducks or geese in either, so hoping they will soon, they had loads of freezers completely empty with the 'as seen on tv' signs about them so hopefully they will get them!!!! Actually, my trip there was quite embarrassing, got to the check out to find i didnt have my debit card in my purse, and not enough cash:eek: as luck would have it, someone i used to know from school (they moved about 3 years ago!!) was there, and offered to pay for my shopping, and i could pop the money around to her later:T Its lovely when something like that happens, and what are the chances of knowing someone in a shop miles from home!!!!!
Right better go, little one due here any minute,
Hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Is anyone else having probs going advanced??? Everytime i press that button, it posts what ive written so far:mad:

    Morning everyone :)

    freezing here too.

Feeling really strange at the moment. Oh is away tonight for a start. He is going to ask his boss to sack him tomorrow. Oh is 36 and has works on short term contracts and has done for a long time. The company he works for now ( a very well known company) is the most ridiculous company he has ever worked for. I can't even begin to go on about everything but in all his time working OH has never chosen to leave a job but just feels like a beaten man at the moment. He can't leave because he has a clause in his contract that if he leaves he loses a retention bonus from the company but if they sack him it has to be paid, he also has to leave the company on the spot for security reasons, so they have to pay him out for 1 month without him working. Being in and out of work is the nature of Oh's work but if he leaves now he should be able to find a new contract hopefully before christmas. Nothing might come of it but I know he feels better just for thinking about it. Waffling on but had to get it off my chest.

Os wise I am looking forwards to a delivery from an organic meat company recommended on here. Everything I bought comes in at not much more than the supermarket and I have ordered some different things that should be nice. 2 kgs of boneless pheasant meat for £11 will be needed to be turned into a stew, does anyone have any recipes please, especially in an attempt to keep it moist?

I also have tidying, ironing, washing, you name it! But will sit down tonight and watch the Hells Kitchen U.S.A final that I missed on monday night.

Have a good day everyone and hugs to all.
  • morning all,
yet another busy week at work and just managed to pop on here to say hello:j

dd3 is moaning she can't find her clothes, so I will have to go and sort it out.

Slow cooker is on, but wm is having a rest,

Take care all. see you soon xx

ps catowen, it seems okay for me when I go advanced! Wonder what the problem is?
If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.

    Morning Everybody

Well I've worked out why I feel so blooming funny, wait for it I'M PREGNANT. I cant beleive it and neither will my consultant when I tell him. When we had DD he called her our mircle baby and told us not to expect any more. We are absolutley over the moon but definately going to have to tighten our belts another notch. I'm putting this down to OS living as we must be much healthier than we were before. Got an appointment next Wed to see the consultant so hopefully I'll know how far along I am then could be anything upto 9 weeks!!

Anyway back down to earth with a bump. Need to make a shepards pie in a minute for tea and then its off to toddler group this morning, quick drop off at grandmas and then I'm manning the stand for "Ask about Medicines Week" at the Active Age center in Liverpool for work this afternoon. It should be fairly pleasant aslong as nobody asks any questions I cant answer.

    Have a good day everyone
