Afternoon all
I have been dozing on and off all day. DH has just taken DD for a trip to the in-laws so I can have abit of piece and quiet. Hes been excellent all day and done all the jobs that I needed doing apart from the washing. I'll get that done tomorrow.
Enjoy your evenings everyone I'm off back to bedSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Good afternoon everyone,
Well finally made it back home, after the football and all our shopping this afternoon!!!!
Being a very proud mummy again today, DSs team won again, after going down 1 - 0 at half time, DS came on (they were giving a try out to another lad) and he turned the game around completely (even if i do say so myself!!!) he set up a goal, and then scored the winner!!!!! And the field, although muddy, wasnt that cold so really enjoyed it.
Have almost finished my xmas shopping now, just a couple of extra bits and a pressie for my mums partner to get (sorry, but i have to be prepared early for xmas, i cant be doing it in December!!!!) and i will do that next weekend. Might start wrapping everything this weekend, but will see how i feel later.
Right, better go and see what my 2 want for dinner, hope everyone has a lovely evening, we are nearly ready for xfactor, popcorn and a bottle of wine!!!!!
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Evening all!
Nipped into wilko's after work today as I was after a bucket to make doing fishtank cleaning much easier, and found a rather good quality one for £1.99. Picked up a few more cleaning bits (loo freshener stuff, lint rolls, vileda cloths and some new dusters) while I was at it.
Calendar amended for tomorrow as oh didnt sleep well last night and has just gone to bed as he is coming down with this awful cold, and thought it was cruel to vaccuum while he was trying to sleep!
This evening I think I might just make some more cushion covers while watching some tacky TV show!

Hello Again
I'm back at work after the rugby. I was asked if I wanted to go to a pole dancing club this evening - erm, don't really think so somehow.
It was cold out on the touch line today. Winter is definitely here. So glad I wore a high necked jumper, coat, scarf and hat. My friend was wearing skirt and FLIP FLOPS:eek:
Had a snotty email from someone at work accusing me of not doing something when it was done over a week ago and it's their fault their eyes don't work not mine. I do get angry when people don't look before pointing the finger.
Hope everyone's having a better time than meComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 05/11/06 This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
:hello: Gooooooooooood Morning, fellow OS'ers
*Got a peculiar sensation of deja vu doing the thread title* :rotfl:
Well, another silly night of sleep/non-sleep ... that's the consequence of stress on my system
I'm almost done with my menu planning, but it was just so easy to get sidetracked and end up discovering new ideas/recipes which I'd like to try out  I must be more disciplined
Ironing day today - all those lovely uniforms I washed, need to be pressed and hung.
I'm going to go back to bed in a mo and see if I can sleep some more, if not, then I shall put my headphones on and a meditation tape, but I'll finish my hot water with lemon first
Can't see Snowy online, so I hope that means she's getting a good sleep before the mini meet tomorrow - have fun Snowy & Pink and anyone else jogging along
joannasmum - hope you are feeling a bit better and sleeping well too!
Have a Great Guy Fawkes everyonebit disappointed Martin isn't wearing his GF outfit
... I thought the wizard one was very aging :shhh:

Have been looking at recipes to cook pumpkin, will try one out later on, have not decided yet which one to do. hope everyone has a good weekend. :jAmazon No:170
