:grouphug:if you need one, I do :grouphug:
:coffee: just drunk, have been on a mystery shopper assignment, and now the computer tells me that the webpage does not exist, so I cannot punch in the results.........GGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:mad:
Coupled with that an event we were going to tomorrow has been cancelled at short notice...............we were going to help a friend sell some stuff she had made............oh well.........not my weekend obviously. We are going to a dinner dance tonight, not my favourite occupation, so wonder whats going to go wrong with that?????
Bright sunny morning, but cold, we are nice and toasty warm inside now.....bread and cheese for lunch.........chicken (oh god I hope its properly cooked) at the do tonight, will be inspecting it very carefully before I eat it....it had better be hot or else........ the caterer will get the rough edge of my tongue. I have had enough health problems without adding salmonella to them............
Right off to see about some lunch.......
Have a good day chaps...............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Morning all:wave:
oops - it's afternoon... that'll teach me to have a lie in. Well, Mr TM did wake me at 3am cos he's gone off to Turkey for 5 days (work) and I couldn't get back to sleep for ages.
It's damp and grey here so TD will be used. Bedding in ATM and a pile a mil ehigh to wash after that. House is finally getting the good clean I've been meaning to do for the last couple of days.:o I just do a bit then get sidetracked.
I'm also going out tonight, It's a friend's 40th and about 40 of us are going for a meal at a local Indian restaurant. Can't wait :T
Good news, I got my 2nd client yesterday :j However, as I was sitting at the pc and making phone calls before everywhere shut for the weekend, I requested that Mr TM made tea (only sos and mash) He then informed me ..... in all seriousness....... that I'd "better not make a habit of it"  After all, he'd only been home since 2pm, so he was soooo busy himself  Shall we say we had a few words, when I realised it WASN'T a joke!
Right, best get Mr TM's CC paid online (which is why I switched the pc on in the first place) and make a start on the cleaning. Hope everyone has a good day and a good night if you are venturing out to firework/bonfire displays.0 -
Afternoon all,
Been quite a productive morning in the frugalpie house...2nd load of washing on, been shopping DW just finishing and front room tidied.
Flu is hanging on but am not going to let it beat me, am back at work on monday and want the house straight before then.
DH is taking DD out on her bike tomorrow so I may pass on that and stay home and sort out my housework.
Breakfast: Nothing
Lunch: Sausage Roll
Dinner: Sausages, Mash and Beans - real comfort food!
Just off to rearrange the furniture in the front room and give it a real good clean out - especially the drawers in the unit!
Have a good day and hugs to you as always.
Frugalpie

warning: rant alert:
arrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
OH just had a belated birthday parcel from his (dutch) parents, inside is a letter: "we do hope you'll be with us for christmas.. oh and (sister) would like you to be there when the baby is born"...  this is despite the fact that my parents and gran are here on 27th, and we have a dog (are we just supposed to abandon her?), and are flat broke, and quite apart from all that: there's absolutely no guarantee that (sister) will have the baby while we're there, even if we did break our necks trying to get over there.
honestly, i love my mom and dad-inlaws but.. ARGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! (and OH is just as frustrated as i am...)
on the plus side: got the parcel (it was the lavender, i can smell it from here, unopened!) and the stuff from aldi, WM is finished, laundry hanging out to (hopefully) dry w/o the heating on (gonna give it a few hours, if need be we'll turn it on) and i'm nursing a cuppa before i go do brunch.
but dear god.. give me strength...0 -

Bertie - glad you had a wonderful time with your GC - I wish I had had grandparents like you - they couldn't say they were bored. Do you want to inherit another 3 GD's. They would love it!

Its BFs flatwarming/fireworks party tonight. The spuds are baking, the wine is mulling, the fairy lights and balloons are up and the apple crumble is, er, crumbling. All is ready-i've even managed to make some toffee apples. Just waiting for the guests-i hate this bit most! You always worry that no one will come...
