bm just about to go on
need to pop to the shops for milk and eggs
I also need to find something for dinner I'm going through one of my fed up with trying to decide phases at the moment

Morning everyone! Bad day yesterday - DH has gone off to the far east again. He's done this loads now, but I felt terrible about it this time. Still feeling a bit fragile. Additionally, my laptop has packed in, only 54 weeks after I got it (so using w*** machine atm, but it's not the same) so one more thing to deal with.

Recorded HFW from yesterday, to watch en famille when DH is back - can't wait!

Intending to do a big clean and tidy today, wait for laptop to be collected to go back to manufacturer, then collect an art case from Freecycle for DD's Christmas.

well this should be my day off, but in true MSE style I got the chance to earn some extra cash so I am doing an extra shift in another centre.
we have plans to go to florida next year so we have started a special bank account to make sure its all paid for before we get on the plane
so there will be no other OS going on today!

Morning, am lovely snuggly warm here in bed! OH left at an un-earthly 5- something muttering about having to scrape the car.....

Last day at w*rk today before 3 weeks off, so as you can imagine I'm on something of a wind down. Working from home helps In my own unique sneaky way I made sure I sent the "Lucie is going away" email to the entire office at 5.55am, so they all know how early I started work this morning and no-one can complain when my phone is turned off at 2! My boss is on holiday anyway..............

The bags are packed, we're ready to go (cue for a song??!) so I'll see you in 3 weeks (AussieLass - we're staying Caloundra until the 16th, then we're coming down to Brisbane that weekend for the footy)

Morning all!

This cold weather is helping me to sleep like a log! Kids are yet again snuggled up under their duvets and the heating has finally gone on. Just waiting for the house to get a little warmer before I go down and make breakfast.

Loads of washing to do before I head off to a 100th birthday party! It's a long drive away but I know dd will spread some happiness as she will be the only one under 28 there. Ds is being looked after a friend after school as we won't be back until later, friend asked ds what he would like for dinner and he requested a roast! So not only does she have her hands full with 2 lively boys she has to make a full roast at ds's request!

Really looking forwards to the weekend, have hardly seen oh this week. Dinner will be chilli and nacho's tonight. Better go make breakfast, have a good day everyone .

Good morning everyone,

Cold here as well, and i had my normal bad night. However, i do think my antibiotics are finally kicking in, and my chest/cough doesnt feel as bad today HURRAH!!!!!
3 little ones here today, and i promised them that we would do dressing up today, but that will be after a trip to the doctors for my blood test. They love it at the doctors, they think its some sort of outing!!!!! Not sure what else we are going to do, will see how they are, and what they want to do!!!!
Right, need to get DS up so i can wash his bedding, and still havnt made any bread so need to do that now, as later i want to make some pizza dough for dinner tonight.

It is freezing here in the south west and we are off to bristol later with our caravan to camp for a bonfire weekend!!!!!

Glad you are feeling better Pennypincher, now your child is a woman (at least her body thinks it is) and it sounds like you handled it brilliantly.

Off for therapy this morning, group therapy for depression, anxiety etc. Have been going of nearly a year but some have been there for 7 years and not yet better!!!!!:eek:

Doing my first mystery shop later, so wish me luck.

Just a quick post for me atm as DH is going to get DD & DGS from the jetty in a few minutes. XDIL loved the house she is renting & we are taking him over tomorrow morning. I'm losing my voice from the flu this time :rolleyes:

Cat - glad to hear your meds are kicking in.

PP - They grow up so fast don't they? Great news that you had a good night's sleep. Don't forget to post pic of you in new suit.

I agree - i'nt it cold.

Meal plan for next week to sort out - I'll do that at work. Hopefully most of it will come out of freezer/cupboards.

Discovered Rooster do a cool christmas fairy knitting kit - and that there's a shop in Alnwick that stocks them. Might take a trip up there to see. We need a fairy for our tree - previous years have involved me, some tinfoil and an old cornflakes box and the vague resemblance of a star.

I can hear the WM going, so there will be ironing for me tomorrow - If I can get everything dry that is.
