Happy Birthday Chipps! :bdaycake:
I've got a meeting this morning with my Headteacher and personnel. It's supposed to be an 'informal chat' about how they can help me adapt for work (I've got MS and have had a few relapses) Hope it goes all right. I want to do a job share, only doing three days a week. Last time I asked she didn't want to know, let's hope it works this time!
Other than that, practising for the Xmas Carol concert this afternoon, and lots of rest this evening!
Have a good day everyone!:rotfl:I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Well, its cold and wet here today, but i only have one little one here, so should be a nice day.
Had a good friend pop round last night with a bottle of wine, which was a lovely surprise, and we had a good natter in between watching im a celeb!!!!
plans for today - attempt to make a stew on the hob now that my SC has exploded  , and do some xmas pressie wrapping, its great to get my shopping done, but i do have pressies all around the house now, and do want to get them sorted before little eyes find them  !!!!
Right, better go, little one due anytime now!!!
Pooky - hope your last day goes well today!!!!
Have a lovely day everyone

Had a good night with Lily last night. Feeds every 3 hours or so....but at least last night she didn't spend her time screaming the house down. Suspect she's got a touch of colic and raising the head of her moses basket seems to have helped her. Can't believe the amount of sleep I actually got last night. For some reason I feel almost human.
Expecting more visitors today so can't do a lot OS. But we'll see what we can squeeze in around them and trouble.

I am going to have a lazy day TV cleaning todayWe have the new Telewest hard drive box and it went into critical mode with everything I had recorded but not had time to watch so today I am cleaning the box by watching and deleting lots of stuff
I will try and get the carpets cleaned before DH comes home from work though and then I will get the tippex out and rewrite the letters on my keyboard as I can no longer tell m from n and v has disappeared too.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Good morning everyone.
Amie - Sorry to hear about your FIL's worrying news. Hope all goes well for him.
Well, yet again I couldn't sleep so, as DH was out the door at 4.50am as had to travel further afield today, I got up at 5.45am and did an hours ironing. It's cleared one huge pile and all the shirts, so now only a little basket of clothes to do that were airing last night. Thank goodness! :j
Feeling a tad better than yesterday so am going to bung the hoover round downstairs and then finally get round to baking the buns (that I've been trying to do for days). Want to quickly change all the beds as I got loads of washing dry yesterday, including all bedding, so run out of excuses now.
Enjoy your day everyone.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Baking day here in the house of Thrift. Muffins and flapjacks, might do some scones as well. Must cook a packet of cannellini beans I've had soaking overnight. Some will go in a chorizo and bean type stew thingy for supper tonight and the rest will go in the freezer.
I'm aiming to get it done this morning so I can sit down with my feet up, the TWG, More With Less cookbook and a cuppa this afternoon.
We have a pensions advisor coming to see us tonight about OH's possible new job - should he stay or should he go
Congrats to Churchmouse btw0 -

Amiee - fingers cross for FIL
Penny Watcher - still annoys me how dentist charge for under 16yrs. Our dental practise went private - but luckily I managed to find another dentist who accepted NHS patients. My DS was born with cleft lip, and sadly he requires a lot of dental work.
Just had 2 weet-abix, cheese salad 4 lunch, and something quick n easy 4 dinner, as its cubs/scouts night for DD & DS later - tuesdays is always a rush.
Would like some info on best place to buy cheap/nice thankyou cards/notlets from for DD friends who came to her party. I normally make my own cards, but wont have time to this lot. Thanks in advance.
Have a great day all - and will catch up with you later
