    Congratulations Churchmouse :T :T :T :j :j

Anyone want a toilet update? Mr troo has bought the right size thingy now so is 'fixing' it as I type  A bit of water ran down the wall beside me, and I can hear slow dripping onto the carpet about a foot behind me

He's better get it right this time, we've been using a jug to pour water down the toilet to flush it for the past 24 hrs.

    Congrats to churchmouse and family

Had a scarey moment with lo again, while i was in kitchen getting things ready for trip to tesco, lo tripped over dh's leg and banged his mouth on edge of hall table, bleeding for 5 mins, his jacket was covered in blood:eek: banged the inside of his lip and its now swollen up a lot, poor man he was screaming!

Bought him a toy from tesco to cheer him up.

Seems okay now, he is eating/drinking okay but he is very pale and the top lip looks awful, have given him nurofen, hope its down by tomorrow.

Mil was up, dh took her to whisky shop for some cheap prezzies, she was well chuffed with it:D

Still reading through mums mags, bought a big pukka pad to write recipes in, will do that later.

    Hugs to all
    Kyle

Havent had a chance to really read much on here at all but notice that one of my comments may have upset a few people??? If that is the case then i am really sorry (especially Penelope Penguin) as i didnt mean to. As you may notice i did say that that decision wouldnt last long as most of the boys were really well behaved!!

In answer to your question Queenie two of the boys came straight into my house and started jumping all over the furniture, even after one of the mums told them not to. They then persisted in doing everything they were asked (politely) not to including dissappearing and being found by one of the mums wandering around upstairs having a good old snout around in all the bedrooms.
At one point they were having 'Breadstick fights' and started smashing them around (lickily they were only breadsticks) the lounge and crushing them everywhere and attacking my daughters new presents (luckily wrapped) with them. This is what i call 'naughty' and i really dont feel i am exaggerating as all the other mums who were left when the boys went breathed a huge sigh of relief and started talking all about it.......

Anyway once again i apologise if i have upset or offended anyone, i think i was just venting...... I love boys really!!!!!

Aha!!! Yes, definately naughty behaviour in my book too!!! :naughty:
Thank you for taking the time to explain how recalcitrant they were, it does make your earlier comments more ... understandable :D

At least now you know who not to put on the party list next time ;)

    :j :j Congratulations Churchmouse! :j :j

    :hello: to everyone else.

I've got my leaving date - 29th November, so a week on Wednesday. The head has asked me whether I want to do a bit of supply there. I'm in two minds about it, but as DH and I are going travelling for 3 months, the money will come in very handy. DH has suddenly realised that we need to cut back on our spending if a) I'm going to be out of permanent work and b) we won't be earning for 3 months!

DH told his parents at the weekend that we're hoping to go travelling and his mum was horrified  The thought of her little boy (he's only 31 :D) travelling in the big bad wide world....... He's done it before, so he can do it again! My parents aren't fussed, just so long as they get a fridge magnet and a postcard :D.

Speaking of DH, he's currently in Tesco doing our weekly shop. I've armed him with all the extra Clubcard points, so we'll have mega points in our next mailing!

Supper tonight is minestrone soup that was from the yellow sticker section at Asda ages ago. We're doing a little bit of the storecupboard challenge at the moment, so we're doing really quite well!

Anyway, time to go and make sure that the soup is in the pan :D.

    Hello everyone :)

Congratulations churchmouse! I hope mum and baby are doing well :D

Well, didn't get as much done yesterday as I thought I would (I knew really I was being too optimistic) Did however get the kitchen and the living room sorted out. Made a lovely dinner (if I do say so myself!) and made 2 mini lasagnes and 2 pasta bakes in those cool little foil trays, so was able to pop them into the oven to heat through while making the dinner tonight, and 2 are in the freezer :T

Work was fairly busy today, and had to go to the dentist to get a filling patched - decided better going now or knowing my luck it'd break apart over christmas  I'm getting there!

*Hugs* to all, take or leave as you please :j

Congratulations Granny Churchmouse. I'm so happy for you. A beatiful little baby boy without the pain. :D The joys of being a grandma.

Kyle :naughty: Please don't say the *P* word, you know it upsets me. :D
Poor little lo. Hope his little mouth doesnt give him too much trouble. OS did something similar when he was little.

Vicky The supply job sounds ideal until you leave. Do you have any thoughts on when you want to go?

Anyhoo, better make a start to the day. Lots of painting and cleaning lined up for me today at the house. Warm day here so I'll throw some washing in first. Have a good night's sleep everyone. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Bit of good news for us - not as good as Churchmouse though. Welcome lo.

DS won the raffle at his school - £50:j . He's decided to split it with his sister and save it for going to florida. Ahhh.

I suggested buying mum some wine (since she paid for the ticket - ahem - 20p) but he thinks he's too young, and wouldn't I like to go to florida. Bless.
