It all landed in my little office, if it had gone anywhere near the PC I'd have killed him :D

We've already got a carpet, ready to go in. The plasterer is coming after Christmas to do the lounge so I'll send him in here too.

Dorry, never mind Queenie asking if we can come and stay, I'm coming anyway :D

Wanna hear something really funny? Our friends are doing their house up and mr troo is helping. He's done all the flooring and wall tiles, tomorrow he's meant to be fitting their bathroom  He's just said he doesn't want to do it :rotfl: At least the bathroom is downstairs and has no carpet, the floor is tiled :D

Just come back from an amazing weekend in Bath with Mr Frizz and no DD's :j. Just what the doctor ordered, plenty of shopping, eating, sightseeing and :shhh:.

Bath is a beautiful city, can't believe we have never visited before as its only an hour away for us. Did a tour around the Roman Baths, wow, not normally my thing, Mr Frizz loves all that, so went for him, but I was completely fascinated. Clever b*ggers, them Romans. Both decided that the DDs would have loved it, so we are going to make a return visit soon with them. Couldn't believe that it was only discovered 100 years ago, and they are still excavating to this day - how exciting - who knows what's yet to be discovered. Think I need a career change.

Also found my dream shop, "25 December", a shop totally dedicated to Christmas, I was in my element. :j Naturally, had to make quite a few purchases :o, I could have easily bought the whole shop. Maybe another career change. :rotfl:

    Have a good evening all.
    Frizz :D

  • Hi Guys

Been frantic busy over the last two weeks at work - business bought a hotel 16 days ago that way half converted into 5 flats and I've been cracking the whip getting everything organised to finish them.

Everybody off site on Wednesday night and I took over with my bucket, yellow marigolds, 3 spanking new microfibre cloths and my trusty bottle of stardrops. (Builders thought I'd gone seriously off my trolly) - "that looks like something my Nan would use" was one of the more polite comments.

Well don't need to tell you guys that by Friday at 4pm the place was gleaming - windows, tiles, bathrooms, taps - you could eat off my back stairs :rotfl: Unrecognisable from the spider ridden, smelly student squat I was presented with. 5 beautifull flats - very neutral, very clean, very gorgeous.

Even better - all five were let on first viewings on Friday night and Saturday morning.:T The Letting Agents commented that the flats were by far the cleanest they were able to show the families.

From next Saturday, five new families will be moving into new homes cleaned and gleamed by advice from you all.

PS I popped over today and left them all a welcome card with a bottle of stardrops and a microfibre cloth under the sink:rotfl:

PPS Too pooped to clean my own wee house tonight though. Will someone give me a kick up the bahookie and get me going again.

:o *quickly hides empty box of fudge, and wipes chocolate residue from mouth* :o

Forgot to mention the Fudge Kitchen shop . Could quite easily be a third career change in the pipeline. Bath is somewhere I would seriously consider moving to, for the job prospects of course! ;)

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi

    "Hi"

Kids in bed, my bath is running, DH is getting ready for "Lord of the Rings". All is peaceful in the Peem household (my god I'm in the wrong house:eek: )

Nope, checked, it is the right one - no one else has different paint testers patched all over the dining room!

Had delicious chicken curry for dinner with remains of banana butterscotch pudding. I'm loving my bill granger cook books at the mo.

Moggins - nice to hear from you again.

Queenie - all those kids, my hat is off.

Better go - bath nearly ready. Have a nice night everyone.
