    Morning everyone :)

Baby Lily is beautiful and I love the name, hugs to everyone else that needs them.

Very cold here this morning. Feeling very strange at the moment. Lots of things up in the air and I suffer badly with anxiety so am back on my happy pills (prozac) and waiting for those to kick in, I am very naughty because I ook myself off them a few months ago when perhaps I shouldn't have.

Went out for a lovely day with the children yesterday. We went off to a fab garden centre (Scotsdales in Cambridge for anyone else in the area) and picked up some christmas bits, the kids saw Santa and he was brilliant and they got the most amazing pressies, lucky things. Today we are off to a playcentre and then it is the usual sunday clean round/ homework/ bakeathon. I prefer to keep busy when I feel like this!

Off to surprise the kids with croissants for breakfast, a real treat in our house. Have a good day everyone:)

    Good Morning everyone.

it is a very sunny morning here today. bit of a shame as i love wet and windy days. but never mind. hubby is off to get our new kitchen today. so excited. we have so little cupboard space.

i've got some more ironing to do , if the clothes are dry enough and then some sewing. our fitted bed sheet has got a tear in it. so going to turn it into a flat sheet for my son's cot. and then i have one of my daugthers duvet covers whihc has a mark on it , so going to use the material to make a duvet and pilliow case for my son's cot, hopefully then being able to cut out the stain.

    B- Toast and ceral
L - Soup and HM bread roll
D - Lasagne with peas and wedges.

    enjoy your day everyone.

  • Hello everyone!

It's dazzling sunshine here today - very crisp when you put your head out the door tho. I love these types of mornings.

Wishing I'd loaded the breadmaker last night now after reading how so many of you are coming down to lovely hot bread. Sigh......

DH off out with DS1 this morning so that leaves me with DS2 who, no doubt, will rush up the stairs to his older brothers pc as soon as the car disappears out of sight. So that leaves me free to BAKE! :D

Will quickly load WM and then BM for pizza base (pizza, jacket potatoes and colslaw for dinner), then I can have some fun making buns & oaty biscuits for the lunch boxes. Have some puff pastry too that I bought on BOGOF so will search the Mega Index for a treaty recipe.

Hope everyone enjoys a lovely lazy day.

    AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE   £115.93/ £250

  • Well I suppose I did do the washing up. Was persuaded by my 16 year old to get a contract orange fone - Dolphin, which means i pay £25 per month for it. Assurances from her that she ould not go over. Who can guess the problem? First two months went fine - then a bill of £122 and a bill of £73. I was poorly with ENT prob(just out of hosp). So she had to go to building society to get cash to pay me back from her savings. What else can I do - £300 to cash in contract! Ho hum - having to pay has sharpened her wits and I can track her bill online.
Jack Russell sleeping on sofa next to me and I have just completed and sent an application to Arts Council. Nice smells from breadmaker!
  • I'm still rather newo accidentally posted this too high up the chain!

    Good morning everyone,

Well, im up showered and dressed!!!! Had my cuppa and thought i would pop on here before we have to go out.
DS has been invited to a party, and i have to take him about 10 miles away to meet up with the others in a car park, and then go and collect him 4 hours later. As we have to take him so far, DD and i are then going to go to Trago Mills for a look around, and some lunch, its normally really nice and cheap, which is my type of place!!!!
